Defintion of Taiyya: The word "al-Taqiyya" literally means: "Concealing or disguising one's beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of eminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury." http://www.al-islam.org/encyclopedia/chapter6b/1.html
When would this not apply, cant all circumstance be viewed as having the potential for "mental injury"?
Can I get a Muslim to explain when they cannot lie or is that a paradox in itself, to ask as Muslim, allowed to lie under any percieved mental injury, a question.
This is one of the most amazing doctrines in all religion.
"intention is to deceive unbelievers about Islam, for the explicit purpose of assuaging doubts and concerns about Islam, and encouraging conversion. " http://www.faithfreedom.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=178
