Yes, the Eagle Standard was first used with Roman Legions .. You are correct .. It is the conditioning of a Wargod cult .. Personally I like the funk singer's version George Clinton of Parliament .. I would like it changed to , "One nation, under a groove/Gettin' down just for the funk of it!"

Wrong. People may pray when the American flag is burned, but it's a prayer of hope. Hoping that God will help soften their hearts and realize that even though they may disagree strongly with an issue, the American flag represents the nation they are a member of (in the case of an American burning an American flag) and that burning it desicrates all that the nation represents. All the bad - yes, but all the good as well. America is not the perfect nation, but it was founded on principles which are just and true. Principles that say, you may not think like me but I can't tell you how to think. While at the same time saying do what you want, but your right to do it stops at my nose, and my property. Americans are very protective of our country because the people who came here were the mistreated survivors of other countries. When they finally got to a place that would accept them for themselves and what they could do, they loved the country and taught this to their children. These same people were also very religious in their own way, and because their way wasn't the way prescribed by their native country, they had to leave or die. Believing that this country was created and founded by the hand of God, they passed this concept on to their children. As the nation grew, so did the respect, reverence and love for the country. In some humble corners of the country, this mindset continues even today. Unfortunatly these corners of the country are shrinking.

No, the US flag doesn't idol God, not the one revealed in Jesus Christ. I'm a devout Christian and I've been burning US flags since my High School years, and will continue to do so in the years to come. And no, I don't pray to God while doing it but continue struggling for reconciliation and justice in spite of all the bloodshed your country has perpetrated against mine (I'm not from the Middle East).
And, yes, I have many friends from the US.

I don't think it is an Idol God, atleast not to me. All nations have a flag and I guess it is what you think it is. God judges us on out intention. The people are more than likely praying for peace and understanding and not to the flag.

The american flag is a Symbol, not an Idol. It has always been said to fight for God and Country, Not Country and God. Do you love your Parents? God says to love him before anything or anyone else. If you love your parents more than God, than your parents become the Idols that you worship.

That depends. Are they praying to the flag? Or are they praying to their God that their nation doesn't get destroyed the way that flag is being destroyed?

No, event he tribes of Israel had their family flags. They are just a symbol of solidarity, of unity. IF people are praying they are praying to their God not TO the flag.

Please, if you're going to ask a question, make sense. I think I get what you're saying, but it hardly resembles anything a person with 3rd grade grammar skills would write.
Oh, and if you don't like this country, move.
