Not sure why people think repenting is so easy and that you don't have to feel guilty cause you do. Part of The repentance process is that you must feel remorse for what you have done. True repentance requires such a feeling as remorse or guilt in order for people to change their behavior. You are not truly repenting until you change and stop whatever you where doing that is a sin. but of course you have to feel sincere remorse for what you have done so that you will never want to do that again.

No, it's not "Christian" to feel guiltless and sinless. Look, I didn't even read all of the responses because I knew pretty much what they would say. It was predictable. I am Christian, and I do not live without sin. It is almost impossible to do, however, you should realized that even in sin, God is merciful and God loves us all. All you have to do is accept his gift of everlasting life.

I am confused by your question though, what exactly is it we're supposed to feel guilty about? I'm not particularly happy bout the hot dogs I ate for lunch, but I don't feel guilty about eating them. In short, I do not believe in original sin, but many do...

The implication of your question is that Christians are a group of people who live without conscious and without fear of the morals that bind us together as a society. We, all men and women, are supposed to live by God's law... The direct answer is, no it's not Christian to believe that way. Your question is absurd though, clearly you need some education about what it is to be a Christian. And, quite honestly, this isn't the right way to convey that message. Seek the truth from a priest or minister, not Yahoo!...

Feelings aren't a way to measure reality.
I often feel guilty if I have spoken harshly to someone, been selfish in some way, etc. But when I ask forgiveness, I am forgiven, and I try to do better next time. But sometimes I will still feel guilty even after being forgiven.
Heres a bit of an illustration:
After coming off of an elevator, I still feel like I am moving up or down. The effects of the ride trick my body into thinking that something is happening that really isn't.
I cannot tell my body to stop feeling that way, it has to wait it out and get back to normal, usually after ten or so minutes.
Just like my body can't easily forget elevator rides, my conscience cannot forget things that I have done.
But I have full security in Christ, not because I am good and holy, but because He is, I know His word is trustworthy. And His word says that receiving God's forgiveness brings me into relationship with Him, that cannot be taken away from me.

You may not always feel guiltless and sinless but feelings often lie. The secret is to "know by faith you are guiltless and free from the bondage's of sin." Not only in your mind but in your heart also.

To be Christian is not about feelings but about belief in Jewish prophecies about a Jewish Messiah (anointed one) who would pay the final ransom for death-causing sin thereby providing a means to eternal life. One can still be guilty and sinful and believe in this historical person. Usually, feeling guilty and sinless comes is a transitory feeling brought about when one quits doing something (repents of) a habitual action that was making him/her feel guilty and sinful. Get it? One is a state of mind based on one's belief, the other is an emotional state affected by one's actions.

We are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God.
I think that christians feel more guilty than those who aren't.
Why?? Because we know that someday we are going to have to stand in front of our Father and answer for some of the things we have done. Jesus forgives us, thank God for that!!

No. You are to believe that to be Christian is to feel loved and forgiven.
I love this little poem (even though I didn't write it, LOL), so I'm going to share it here:
"When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting, "I'm clean livin',"
I'm whispering, "I was lost,"
Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride,
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong,
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success,
I'm admitting I have failed
and need GOD to clean my mess.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, GOD believes I'm worth it.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches,
So I call upon HIS name.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not "holier than thou",
I'm just a simple sinner
who received GOD'S good grace, somehow"

Are you kidding? Christians always feel guilt and sinfull. We like everyone else in this world are NOT perfect. If you don't have guilt then something is wrong.
God Bless

When you get saved, all your sins are forgiven. This doesn't keep you from sinning again, and if and when you do, if you are repentant and ask god to forgive you , He will. Its important to pray daily and remember Jesus is our advocate with the Father.
