Seems like a strange thing that God would put the yearning into our hearts to live forever and then make us where we only live less than a hundred years. I love this earth and the life God gave me. I want to live here forever.

the reason God put eternity into our hearts is because we were to live forever before the first Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge

Actually, the world is a very screwed up place; which is why most religion exists. It tries to interpret the imperfections of this world, and how we can come to perfection through the doctrines of that specific religion.
The most important thing in the entire world is life. When you're young, you're full of life; when you're old, you have less of a sense of it. We want to stay young forever, and when we become old, or when death becomes a presence around us, we need a way to quantify our mortality, and so we think about eternity and the religious and philosophical implications of it, and our place in it.

Sorry. You can't live forever. It's an impossibility. Machines don't exist forever. Stars don't exist forever. Even galaxies don't exist forever. It's like a tiny germ thinking it will exist forever to become the ruler of the planet. Not even your "soul" can live forever, because no such thing exists. Stop preaching, Christians.

We yearn to live for ever because we don't like the idea of not existing anymore. That is why people invent religions to comfort themselves.

God didn't put eternity into our hearts. Men created the concept of eternity to define something that was incomprehensible.

If you really love living on this Earth then you should be even more excited about the Kingdom of Heaven. It is beyond comparison to this Earth.
Personally, I think that this world is just getting worse and worse.

Then GOD shortened it to Around 120 Year's.
