Stop that. You're being as intolerant as the Christians you're bashing. They have the right to say and wear what they like, just as you do (and have done). They're not brain dead, they just have a different faith than you do. Now please apologize.

Attire is a way of being identified as part of a group.Soldiers say "sir", a lot and mainly wear the same type of uniform.So it's done to express solidarity and cohesiveness.

A cross is a symbol of Christianity. If they are wearing it quietly and not waving it around it should bother no one. The best way to show others you are a Christian and to have others believe it is to live it. There is no better example than to be like the one they believe in. Just speaking the words and not having it in your heart is no better than the Pharisees who stood on the streets and prayed out loud the same prayers over and over thinking this made them look great in the eyes of the Lord.

I am Mormon and many people dont understand why we dont wear crosses...but this is the reason right here. We dont feel that Jesus's sacrifice is something that should be celebrated or advertised. We greatly appreciate his sacrifice and mourn that head to go through so much. We celebrate his rising again and wear things that are inspiring. People usually wear crosses just to show off anyway....even rappers who brag about getting high, killing people and having sex in there music wear crosses. It is so hypocritical. Many even belive they can still get into heaven doing all of that.
BTW...this is not a hit on rappers, many people do this. It was just the first ex that came to mind.

We not showign off. When someone does as much as God has done for us, you want the world to know JESUS IS LORD. There is nothing braindead about choosing Heaven over Hell.

True religion is not outward but radiates from the inside. Wearing crosses, bands, chains and the like is of no consequense if the heart is not right. Showing off is called hypocrisy i.e. wanting to impress the people around. This will likely lead to a sin called PRIDE. Don't worry when you see people putting on those things, what matters is whether they are Christians in spirit and in truth.

Probably because they (we, I'm a christian too) are proud. although being proud isn't a very good trait. and some people may want to show off, while others like wearing crosses because they think it protects them. but I do not know why they say Jesus in every sentence it is very stupid. unless they are praying which i take they are not in these circumstances.

Well are you proud of being brain dead. I wear a cross not to show off, I wear a cross, because I am proud to be a Christian. I believe that Christ died for me. He died on a cross, for all of us. I want people to know that I am a Christian. Why would I want to hide it. I live in a Country where we have freedom of religion and it is my right to wear it. You on the other hand have the right not to. It's illegal in Iran to wear a cross. God Bless America!!!!

My dad is a pastor by the way and he does try to show off by wearing crosses or saying Jesus in every sentence.

Not everyone who wears a cross is a Christian.Not everyone who says Jesus is a Christian.I don't think Christians show off, first of all, Christianity is all about being humble, loving God and loving each other.

We are happy and proud of the fact that we know of someone greater than us, out heavenly father and love jesus so much that we feel the need to tell the world. Just because we believe in God doesnt mean we are braindead, ive seen smarter christians than non believers.....May God lead you onto the right path
