Have you ever thought about suicide? If so then stop! God loves you and has a plan for your life. Don't just give up on life. I have lost many people to suicide and the pain you put your family members are not worth it. The reason why your going through so much is cause the Devil wants you to just give up your life. He is scared of what God has planed for your life. The Devil comes to steal kill and destroy!!! Don't let him do it to you or a loved one.

That is a very good point. It is just so sad that not enough people know this.

Personally as someone who has lost someone dear to my heart, a very good big hearted man, I am almost offended that you'd try to insinuate some imaginary "devil" made him do it. (And I say 'almost' because the ridiculousness isn't worth being offended by.) I mean what, is suicide considered such a sin, is this the "devil's" way of gaining more citizens for it's fiery community? Please.

His life and the circumstances of it is what got him down, not some some pretend entity, and getting people to not do such a thing is a bit harder then just trying to tell them to stop. You can't know unless you've been there. Most people who do such a thing don't really want to, but they are so overwhelmed by what they are feeling that they can't see any other way out or how anything will ever change.

Also I wish most people would quit making the "survivors" out to be the victims because they are hurting. Yeah maybe they are hurting, but people need to stop putting it on themselves and consider who the real victim is and care about that person over themselves.

If your "deity" had a plan for him, then why didn't it make it happen while he was still here and not let this world lose him.

Who in his right mind hasn’t thought about trying to get out of Hell??!! I’ve thought about it many times and my situation is not nearly as bad as most. I never seriously considered it though because I didn’t want to cause pain to others by leaving them.

I now know that had I done it I would not have accomplished a thing since I would just find myself back here and possibly even in a worse situation than what I had just escaped from. Escaping from the fires of this world cannot be done by suicide. Everyone who escapes must go through the proper Door.

Actually, when I was a Christian I thought about it a lot. I am not kidding. I used to thing about it a couple times a month it seemed like. I didn't do it nor did I attempt it. It wasn't because of God though. It was because I knew that I was loved by my family and my mother would cry. I can't stand having my mother cry. Since I have changed religion I don't think about it so much. I thought about it a lot when I was pregnant with my third child but that was because I had the baby blues after having my second only like 3 months before I got pregnant with the third. I got very hormonal with my last pregnancies and was depressed a lot. I think I thought about it once since but that was because my medications were screwed up with my seizures and stuff.

A long time ago. I felt tomorrow would have to be a better day. Also the thought. Don't you know you are the temple of God? Those who destroy or defile the temple of God, God will destroy or defile.

All lies that are part of suicide get fried.

I agree. Don't do it. My cousin committed suicide 1 year ago. Since He was a Christian, I believe He's in Heaven. But all the lies, unforgiveness, etc. that brought Him down got fried. He didn't get the wonderful rewards God had purposed for Him.

Don't believe the lies. Find out about God's love. A good web site: FathersLoveLetter.com.

Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

Nina, Jesus said, "I AM the door."

Tammidee, Jesus is kind & just. He loves you. Some churches aren't portraying Jesus correctly. They might not even be Christian. Jesus loves you sooo much. What matters is what God thinks, not so much what others think. God wants you to have faith in Him.

rocky road, I encourage you to purchase a biblical promise book. Speak the promises out loud to your self. Receive the healing. Who is He who overcomes? He who is born of God. What is our victory, our faith.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. He who seeks God must believe that He Is, and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. God has promised to never leave you or forsake you. He loves you sooo much.
I say to God. OK God. You love me. That is what is important. God gave me this verse once when I had visions of cutting my arms (I believe from satan). Because someone I cared about cut me & my faith down and I tried to argue back my way. Doubt came. With that the vision to toss things & cut self. Repent of not trusting God. God Is everything His Word reveals He Is.

If I doubt, I sink. When in doubt, cast it out.

I attempted suicide more than once when I was a teenager, so I can say with 100% accuracy that any "Devil" has absolutely to do with why people choose suicide. Nada. Zip. Poof... air, nothing.

Depression is the #1 cause of suicide attempts, and depression is a physical illness. Left untreated, it can be deadly, resulting in suicide, of course. As for any Devil, there is no "Devil," one doesn't exist. If one did, it wouldn't have any power to generate a physical disease in someone.

Suicidal people should never be left alone. They need intensive and very loving care, including medication, definitely.

I have thought of suicide and even tried it but i'm nost sure a religious speech is the solution. You're right about the pain caused to others is not worth it I've lost many people to suicide too though...
But you'll see the fact that god loves you is no reason enough to not doing so.. it may even encourge someone to do it... if god loves me why not being in his grace? you see... iti is a real problem so it needs a real solution methinks

I came close many times since I was nine years old. It wasn't Jesus saved me. It was learning to accept my differences and love my self. If I had relied on religion I would have never made it out of that pit. Yet every day I see Christian leaders telling people who are different to go to hell or fake what they call a normal life, and have there hell here.
If Jesus was as kind and just as portrayed in the bible, then these churches have no right to call them selves Christian.

So suicide has been added to the list of the devil's works, has it?

The Devil wants nothing of the sort. The Devil wants us to stay here to continue his work.

I am sorry that you have "lost many people to suicide", but don't go blaming innocent incarnations of evil.
