off her warts and she was real sick. Why didn't god heal her of the really bad sickness and leave the warts.

God did not heal her of her warts either. Why would God waste his effort in healing a physical body that is doomed to shortly disintegrate into dust? Wouldn't it make more sense for God to heal the spirit of blindness and deafness, enabling it to see and hear the Truth? Wouldn't the reward be much greater to heal the woman of lameness so that she could walk with surefootedness along the Path that God had long ago prepared for her?
Give tribute where tribute is due. For the things of the world, give tribute to the world. For a physical ailment, go to a medical doctor or take a home remedy, whichever seems to fit the occasion. But for the things of the spirit, give tribute where it is due, and that is to God and to Him only.

Peolpe may have been praying for her to be healed and she didn't have faith. Maybe God was showing her that faith is important, by letting the warts fall off,showing her how powerful he is, so she needs to believe in his power.

What God choses to be our route to death is not always our preferred way out. The wart removing may be as a sign to unbelievers there who saw it and repented, he left the disease for her to carry to death.. Like He said to Paul,"My Grace is sufficient for you."

Perhaps he is particularly good at healing skin diseases (like warts and leprosy) -- but not so good at the other stuff.
