just seems to me that the cases of clergymen either being caught up choirboys or up each other is on an annual increase, which just makes religion even more laughable now than it ever has.

I am saved. I would prefer not to get answers from people saying there is no God...ect because it's what I believe. I try to respect other people, please respect me. That said I am having trouble being angry at God for the things I had no or little control over in my life. My anger has caused me to step back and not fellowship with Him. I keep pushing away when I feel Him tugging because it seems when I go back to Him (read the Bible and talk to Him) really bad stuff happens. I want to know Him more and grow in His word. I don't want to feel anger or alone. I have been away so long. I'm not sure how to accept what's happened and return. I want it so deeply and yet I can't move forward because I emotionally break down and can't function.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Yahoo is a great site. It should work positively. I am not in favour of restrictions but in favour of open debate on different religions but with in ambit of morality. Do not insult others and their feelings. Yahoo should screen all those questions and answers who are insulting and vilifying against any Prophet or religion. Virtues of all religions should be propagated. I hope Yahoo is not controlled by the same persons who owned Danish newspaper.

It seems 2 me that what alot of "pro choice" ppl are saying is " it's MY BODY, it's MY CHOICE".. BUT what about the BABY'S , BODY and his/her CHOICE? don't they have a say..? do u really think he/she will WANT 2 be MURDERED??? =S

Whyaskdon declined to view, but I suggested to him that it would not disprove any of his beliefs, and nor does it try to do so.

It is a theory, but I am sick of seeing theory used as a negative word. It is JUST a theory. Yep, but a good one, and brilliantly explained.

Science and religion need not be opposed.

I suggested to don, that if he wanted it to, it could suggest that God is actually the 10th dimension, if he is the source, and if he is everywhere at once, this fits the bill.

As a sweetener, if that is correct, imagine just how magnificent He would look if we could see Him.

First off, doesn't it stop becoming "personal" when you Christ Cultists congregate or try to spread you BS religion to other cultures? Personal means you go into your bedroom , lock the door and dance around with snakes, talk to yourself (pray) or read some fiction (the bible).

Secondly, the whole Idea of a relationship with a person you have never met or even worse a deity that doesn't exist seems borderline delusional...wait, it is delusional. With that logic I can claim I have a relationship with Winona Ryder even though I have never met her, spoken to her. Hell my relationship with her has more substance because I can at least look at a picture of her and get wood.

A Christian is rewarded by God for doing good and being moral. That is a reward. There is no altruistic behavior involved, only selfishness. A Christian is punished for being immoral, by God. That is not really morality, but fear of punishment. Again selfishness.

A godless morality involves a more pure form. The act itself is the meaning and justification, not the reward or punishment.

So next time you say that Atheists can't have morals, think again, because their morals my be more true than yours.

If there are any pentecostals or people with the holy ghost in them please answer this because im afraid my girlfriend might summon demons and thing happening to her.

I allready got her to not be involved in witch craft but she says she might get a ouija board for her birthday . She thinks that its a game but I know that it's not that at all and whant to find a way to get her away from that stufff.

Also she told me that she was going to do witchcraft because she was bored and had nothing to do (thats how most young people end up in bad influences anyways) but there are many other things to do than do divination and practice witchcraft.....
Like going to church, going places , .cant think of many things

IM 13 shes 12 ..
I whant advice beacause I love her and dont whant anything bad to happen to her.
