Sorry to sound rude but I just don't get it and living in the south have no Muslims to ask.
Why the Peace be upon him rhetoric every time his name is mentioned or typed?
Doesn't thought count?

Thank you

I am not getting this...I am asking some profoundly dumb questions that I deserve a good kicking for...but people don't, they just copy and paste huge tracts of the Bible at me...

What is your opinion of people who do this?
What is the opinion of the people that do this?
People who do this, don't do this, do this instead...

Or do you sit by and watch as your brothers fight till the death? So many who claim to walk a righteous path use the tools a hate to inspire fear of another man, and by doing so subjugate power over you. By accepting that the Muslims are evil, and seeking to destroy them, you ignore the message of Christ. When did war become a Christ like value? (let me guess the Crusades, the Inquisition...etc which of course are demonized by history) Regardless of what religious, or non-religious path you follow, the question still applys.

Little Letter To God

No great things can I offer you,
No wise and wonderous deeds.
Only a simple love so true
And a thank you for my needs.
Dear God it is the little things
I most am thankful for
My life, my sons, my family
My roof, my walls, my door.
May it always be open
To whomever comes to call
May I show your wonderous love
To each individual and to all.
I love you with my simple heart
For I am simple too.
Thanks for not forsaking me.
For letting me love YOU!
Peace Be With You Always,
Debra

If we start from the basis that humans are born into "sin," (wicked, evil) how did or do they manage to overcome that sinful nature?

If you claim "believing in Jesus (Bible, etc.)" or anything similar, why would an evil person even consider such a thing?

Or, is the claim that humans are born into "sin" faulty?

Caste system is termed to be an unholy institution. Which religions propagate such unholy concepts and whether such unholiness disqualify the propagating religious system from the list of true religions of God.
How many countries have a birth based caste sytem like that prevailing in some countries of South Asia? Where did the system originated. What is the relevance and uses/misuses and merits/demerits of caste system? Is caste sytem another name of aparthied? If so, is there any provision in UN Charter to label a country (for the purpose of possible corrective measures) which directly or indirectly (through deliberative actions of the administrative machinery eventhough they pretend to safeguard intrests of vulnerable sections} promote caste based discriminations in real life of the people?

Religion is such a personal thing and completely unprovable, so it's just down to faith, so why do people constantly criticise other people's beliefs or try to force their beliefs on others?

do you ever get upset that you were born into all of this? The Bible says we were created, then there's God, and His son Jesus. So God was just sitting up there one day and says, "Hmmm, think I'll create a world, full of evil men and chaos, smack them around a bit with some earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and the like, oh and tell them to believe in me, without ever showing myself, or any proof of my existence. Oh, and yes, add in in a few pedophiles, murderers, and embezzlers. oooh weeee, wait, I'll make it so some of 'em can't eat, I'll make some of 'em slaves, I'll let some of them be genocide by their own kind, wow!! I'll just give them a book written by a man that I commissioned, and if they question it, blame women!! ha.....blah, blah, blah, I could go on and on with my sarcasm, but I tell you what, I didn't ask for any of this. It seems I was created at some entity's pleasure, just to be mistreated. It doesn't make sense and I resent it. Anyone else out there feel like this?

the gospels tell us that jesus was placed on the cross for 6 hours before being given drugged wine on a sponge, and then being stabbed with a spear to make sure he was dead.
was 6 hours long enough to kill someone or was it a miracle planned and failed?

Not all christians. Most, id say are pretty cool, but there are some that just seem to think that the bible is the only book that has the truth. For example, someone asked the question, "why do some people think homosexuality is not a sin, when the bible says it is?" They say it in such a way that they seem incredulous that there could be people who "wouldnt" follow the bible.

I am interested in this topic as well. I am also interested in reincarnation.
I think that we choose when, where and to whom we are born into after we die. I
think the soul rests before it's rebirth after we die. I think that we choose
when to be born and where because we have certain lessons to learn or repeat
many lifetimes before we get it right and the graduate to the next step. I also
think that we may choose the way we may die. Like for instance maybe in a
previous lifetime we were rich and have experienced this and in the next life we
will experience poverty. The same with disease i.e.: Terminal Cancer ect...
I do know that for SURE when we die, it is not the end, we continue on the
great circle over and over. And that we indeed carry memories over.
