Evolution is still a theory since have not had enough evidence to make it a law but we do have lots of data to back it up and people who say otherwise do not understand science well enough
Gravity is a scientific law not a theory
Intelligent Design is a philosophy and there is no evidence or data at all behind it and to even hint it is scientific is to announce to the world you hate science and anything moral, decent, smart, rational, and logical

I'm afraid that our nation's greatest talent has become propaganda, and that we're going to just keep drifting further and further from contact with reality the more and more propaganda is used successfully. Today half of Americans believe that there's no evidence for evolution. Tomorrow half of Americans will believe that we never landed on the moon. The day after that, half of Americans will believe that the Constitution says that a "Bush" must always be President, or that America is officially a "Christian Nation".
I honestly don't know how to fix this problem. I'd like to think that presenting good arguments in favor of reality would do it, but the extensive propaganda puts reality at a severe disadvantage. The playing field is not level. Common sense won't lead you to the truth any more, and the analytic ability necessary to understand some of these basic issues is way beyond what most people can muster. I'm afraid we're backsliding quickly, and that in just a few decades the United States will be populated by no-one other than delusional right-wing Christians and delusional new-age spiritualists. Frankly, I'm glad I'm 45 and not 25*.
How's that for a picker-upper?
* But then, doesn't every generation reach a point at which it decides that the world is going to pot? Maybe I'm just becoming an old crony at a young age, and the slide into the muck isn't as certain as it seems. When I'm around younger people (20-somethings) I'm generally really impressed. They certain aren't uniformly a bunch of creationist anti-American robots, like the talk-radio listeners. Maybe there's still hope.

i'm afraid that our us of a's the finest selection skills has grow to be propaganda, and that we can merely save drifting more and more from contact with truth the more and more propaganda is used effectively. on the prompt 1/2 of human beings have self assurance that there is not any info for evolution. the following day 1/2 of human beings will have self assurance that we by no skill landed on the moon. The day after that, 1/2 of human beings will have self assurance that the structure says that a "Bush" might want to continually be President, or that u . s . a . of america is formally a "Christian us of a". I truthfully do not recognize the thanks to fix this difficulty. i'd opt to imagine that providing good arguments in desire of truth might want to do it, inspite of the undeniable fact that the wide propaganda places truth at a extreme draw back. The playing field isn't factor. immediately ahead sense gained't lead you to the reality any more effective, and the analytic means had to appreciate a number of those uncomplicated subject matters is way previous what maximum folk can muster. i'm afraid we are backsliding right now, and that in very few a lengthy time period the USA will be populated by technique of no-another than delusional proper-wing Christians and delusional new-age spiritualists. Frankly, i'm satisfied i'm 40 5 and by no skill 25*. How's that for a picker-top? * yet then, doesn't each technology attain a level at which it comes to a decision that the international is going to pot? possibly i'm merely transforming into an previous crony at a youthful age, and the slide into the muck isn't as particular because it form of feels. even as i'm round youthful human beings (20-somethings) i'm frequently truly stimulated. They particular are not uniformly a set of creationist anti-American robots, like the communicate-radio listeners. possibly there remains wish.

There is much scientific evidence to support Evolution but none at all to support naive creation myths. There are scientific theories of gravitation, relativitivity, evolution and quantum theory. The tired chant of "Evolution is just a theory" displays pathetic ignorance about Science...but Genesis creation, creationism, creation science (What a supreme oxymoron!), intelligent design or whatever it'll be called next when it falls flat like the stuff that preceded it is not even a theory. It is just mythology and has no basis in reality. Scientific theories are well-supported. They are not unproven hypotheses. Again, creation myths are not even that. There is much evidence against them. Bishop James Ussher studied the Bible and determined that creation was in 4004 B.C. Aiya, I knew better than that when I was 8 or 9 years old. My dinosaur books said our Earth is 4,700,000,000 years old. A 6010 year old Earth is ridiculous. It cannot begin to account for the geological, paleontological and archaelogical evidence. There is no evidence of a world flood, and there isn't enough water to submerge all land. Noah's Ark couldn't hold examples of all 3,000,000+ animal species, and it'd fall apart in the sea. I could write a book about scientific inaccuracies and contradictions in the Bible. Billy Graham gave me a book that lists many Bible contradictions and glibly tries to explain them. These excuses are too contrived to be credible to anyone with an IQ of 100 or more. My college textbook in Bible History lists more Bible contradictions and looks at them objectively. Anyone who says the Bible is flawless is blinding himself.

Yep! Oh, read the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, there's a good alternative to the theory of gravity in there too!

Nice try but gravity can be proven through scientific experimentation. Try dropping an apple sometime for a demonstration. Evolution cannot be proven through scientific experimentation therefore it is only a theory. Intelligent Design is evidenced in the world while evolution is not. So instead of intelligent falling just practice intelligence.

It will never happen, school boards don't want to have to have one more class that they have to teach and test. I took intelligent falling as a kid but it was a remedial class.
How are we going to teach kids to fall because gravity is a theory or teach kids about God since evolution is a hoax?
I worry about the youth of today.
NO child's left behind! or is to no child is a behind!
I never get slogans right.
Go God!

Evolution assumes that nature in Earth has always behaved the same way. Maybe there was no global flood that shoved giant lizards and plants into the ground and became fossil fuel. Perhpas the reason for seeing fish in a strata really was because the Earth's land shifted.
You haven't read these silly books have you?

I guess it is intelligence if you realize that if you jump out of a window that you will fall. Gravity can be considered a theory, but it works well, and so does intelligent design, by Lord Jesus.
