If he got married in ALABAMA, then Jesus would be upset with ALABAMA, not America. America did not allow the marriage, Alabama did.

Cheers!!

If by 'Jesus' you mean the character out of the old fairy stories book and not some Mexican guy, then I haven't a clue.
It's kinda hard to tell what reaction you would get from a fictional creation.

As for marrying a thirteen year old, I'm not happy with the idea. Children should be given the chance to grow up. And isn't the age of consent sixteen in America? What's he gonna do, wait for three years!

i think of the main substantial concern the guy had significant matters and that should of been the 1st clue. Why interior the hell did the girls folk family contributors enable her to marry a guy. And the place grow to be his family contributors at? And the south has some nutty traditions. it relatively is a thoroughly different international down in those hills.

He'd just suggest that the suspect become a Catholic priest, then he could molest all the children he wanted and get away with it.

Is that really true on the news? Is their laws for that? I would think that Jesus would roll in his grave and strike back from Heaven with Zeus's trident. He would think it would also be the work of the devil.

mouthbreather77,

They used to marry early in his time. I don't think there was a law against it.

You have to realize that people didn't always think like modern people do about things.

Why does everyone think that people in the past lived just like they do today?

I think that story has enough tragedy in it.
A little compassion towards the subject would be easier on the family.
That question is a pretty vile topic.
Don't you think?

I don't see anything in the Bible that says what age someone should marry.
