Quite a few of the Christians (aid workers, observers) had tried and have been shot by the Israelis! Remember that UN post that got bombed about 2 or 3 weeks ago in Lebanon?

None that I know of.
Who said the Pope was Christian?
I think the Christians would stand with the Jews and not the Palestinians.
How come you didn't jump into the frey?
Do your thing for mankind, you are so interested in it.
Step right up there, take your whack for mankind.

Jesus lived a perfect life. We all humans could only try to reach the perfectness at our level best. If the human beings were started to follow the good leaders of the past, time to time then why should this world should be a hell still?

Only one man was ever intended to give his life in order to annul the sin of the rest of mankind, so your premise is false from the start.
Jesus himself would not have put himself in the firing line between two warring parties. He certainly would not have put his own life at risk when to do so would not change the pattern of events and he would never have advised any follower of his do do it.

You need to work on grammar!
"What Christians have walked in the steps of Jesus?" should be the question. I think they give these tours in the Holy Land for tourists for a few bucks.

I guess if God asked me to sacrifice my life that way, I'd seriously consider it! So far He has asked me to be a good wife and mother and tells me that some day I will preach the gospel and be a prophetic evangelist. The work of the Lord is to reach the lost, help the poor, serve the Lord where He asks us to.

No one can offer themselves for salvation of mankind. You can only accept and turn your life over to Jesus for your own salvation. You cannot save anyone but yourself. But you can share the word of God with others so they too, can accept Jesus as their savior willingly.
What is happening in our world is prophesized in the bible and must take place before Jesus returns for His church. Each prophecy that comes to pass, brings that glorioius day of rapture closer. Prasie the Lord for His returning for us who choose to follow Him. People need to recognize the signs of the times we now live in and prepare their souls for eternity, and accept Jesus as their savior. We can;t stop what is happening in our world today. But what we all can do, is get our selves ready for the return of Jesus. Because Jesus is coming back in our lifetime! I am only 47 years old, and I will see Jesus coming for me on that cloud, coming in from the east. Praise the Lord!!
Jesus entire walk on this earth, was to teach people about God and eternal life, and how to obtain eternal life with God, Jesus Father.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
You want to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, then share the word of God with everyone, and praise Him for the free opportunity to accept Jesus as your savior. It is a free gift that was paid for by Jesus wo was without sin, but suffered so our sins an be forgiven. Praise the Lord!!

Being a "Christian" is being a follower of Jesus Christ - doing as he did, acting as he did, and thinking as he did.
The problem is that if we have no clue how Jesus felt about things and why he acted as he did while he was here on earth, we will never 'walk' as he did.
Jesus came here to do his father will. Jesus never got involved in politics, strife, jealousies, war, and especially false relgion.
He aptly said at Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.”
He knew and made it known that not everyone 'proclaiming' to be a Christian would be an authentic Christian and even worse, he called them "workers of lawlessness".
Jesus said at Matthew 7:15-16 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits YOU will recognize them.. . .”
We definitely see many of these counterfeit Christians today.
Jesus also said that the true Christians would be hated by people in general because they would not be part of the world just as Jesus was no part of the world.
Jesus also begged his Father to protect his true followers and to help them not to be part of the world just as Jesus was no part of the world.
John 17:14-16 says: “I have given your word to them, but the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. I request you, not to take them out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one. They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.”
