do you ever get upset that you were born into all of this? The Bible says we were created, then there's God, and His son Jesus. So God was just sitting up there one day and says, "Hmmm, think I'll create a world, full of evil men and chaos, smack them around a bit with some earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and the like, oh and tell them to believe in me, without ever showing myself, or any proof of my existence. Oh, and yes, add in in a few pedophiles, murderers, and embezzlers. oooh weeee, wait, I'll make it so some of 'em can't eat, I'll make some of 'em slaves, I'll let some of them be genocide by their own kind, wow!! I'll just give them a book written by a man that I commissioned, and if they question it, blame women!! ha.....blah, blah, blah, I could go on and on with my sarcasm, but I tell you what, I didn't ask for any of this. It seems I was created at some entity's pleasure, just to be mistreated. It doesn't make sense and I resent it. Anyone else out there feel like this?

I totally agree with M. He understands that religion is basically crowd control. People have to be given rules by someone or there would be complete chaos. Although, the world is turning into just that now.

Look at the difference from the sixties with hippies promoting love and peace rather than war - and now wannabe gansta thugs are promoting violence against other Americans, especially women.

Some days I feel exactly as you do. I think that this is all too wierd and such a mean joke to play on us. I look at my hands and wonder what in the world am I doing breathing, getting ready for work, etc. What the hell is all this?

Well, I'm stuck for the time being until the next great adventure - death. As M says...do the best for others as often as you can and try to make the best of it. At least we're all in this together. (That is, the ones who DO care about others)

If by some slim chance there IS a god, he's absolutely nothing like what the bible says he is. I have quite a few questions as to our origins, Big bang? who friggin knows?
The one thing I'm 100% sure about is that a book written by women hating, people murdering, child raping Taliban members is not to be trusted. Especially not after being cut and pasted here and there by the most evil entity to have ever exsisted; the Catholic Church.
Very little makes sense to our feeble minds. To understand this universe we must diligently seek truth, we must reveal the inner-workings of some very complicated machinery.
Blind faith will only cause us to be crushed beneath the weight of what we cannot comprehend. Curiosity did NOT kill the cat, neither did God, just sheer stupidity.
Organized religion does everything in their power to stop the advancement of scientific enlightenment, they have killed and imprisoned countless masses, they have burned and sought to destroy ancient texts and whole libraries, they to this day have their dirty little hands in the cookie jar of not just american politics, but WORLD government.
I'm right there with ya buddy. I can't stand the evils in this world, more times than not are they fueled by complete and total ignorance, failure to understand. And there's no-where to escape to, ignorance is a cancer afflicting the majority of the world.
Ah well, as they say: Ignorance is bliss, and free-will......well it's a beotch.

oops..you have the wrong Higher Power..Satan thought that all up when he was thrown down here as his punishment from his Heavenly exploits as an Angel of God. Remember..God took out the world's population with His great flood and hoped that Noah and his gang would repopulate the world with Godly people. That didn't work out so well cause Satan was here and turned the tables on God's plan. In comes God's Son, Jesus who teaches new ideas and then dies to cleanse the world by his blood. We are then given the choice to follow God's teachings or slug along with Satan. Next time God decides enough is enough..He will not send a flood, but Fire..and it will be the age of Armegeddon. He won't find a spiritual family to save..it will be the end times and believe in Him or not..choose Heaven for eternity or Hell.

That was not said in sarcasm and it was quite simplistic..but all of it is the Truth.

We were all created with free will and if you can remember clearly in the Garden of Eden, Eve had a choice? So God did create a paradise for us and we messed it up...and are still messing it up. How many of us would actually buy a cell phone or something from someone coz its really cheap but dont consider whether its stolen (or tried to avoid thinking about it)... do you know that the Chinese are eating, EATING, unborn babies and babies that die prematurely? EATING them. So on the whole we are f*cking everything up ourselves. Do you know that its blasphemous just talking this way? Also, do you think that God just created random people and planted little plots in their mind to kill and rape? Have you heard of Satan? You need to stop questioning and start believing coz its normally those who question that are more open to evil.

there is not any. people have depending the prediction from the Mayan Calendar, which fortells that the solar will, like, align with the planets and set the earth on fireplace interior the 12 months 2012. Hollywood only capitalized in this prediction via creating particularly dumb video clips. I anticipate that we are going to all be sitting in our houses on December 22, 2012 (the day after this experience is desirous to take position), and we will be majorly disillusioned. P.S. yet when this does take position, i am going to collect my personal survival crew, which will contain Tom Cruise, John Cusack, Sigourney Weaver, and Bruce Willis. With those adult men on my part, i'm particular to make it by ability of in spite of calamity befalls the Earth.

LOL I used to. But then I with held my anger and reserved judgment for a while (Agnostic)
After "searching" for proof and trying to find something to "believe in" I decided that Religion was a tool created by charismatic leaders to make people behave and promote benevolence (I don't think it was all for bad or selfish reasons).
It was also created to motivate people to die for others i.e. Charismatic Leaders ( again not purely for evil) humans were given a purpose to die so they wouldn't think it was in vain.

I have since ascended from all this. (Atheist) Because there is no end to the "whole of it all". I can better spend my energy trying to help my fellow man and myself by just helping others and being kind. And I don't have to be religious to do that.

Whats more, I have placed my life on the line to help others and defend what I cherish....the hope that man will someday learn tolerance for others. And it didn't take a Jesus or a God to convince me. I made the choice on my own. And I believe in it enough to risk my life!

I think I've felt like that for 2 minutes here, 2 minutes there when I was depressed and ungrateful. Now I understand the sovereignity of God, how he has commanded us to love Him, to fear and reverence Him and to trust Him in prayer and worship. At least you understand that He is in control of everything. Personally I love the LORD and I'm glad I know Jesus. May God give you greater grace, show you more mercy and strengthen your faith Homegirl.

All experiences, good and bad, add to life. I can't really get too pissed off at life when I consider the alternative of not experiencing all of this.

And the world is not as bad off as the news media and end-times religious nuts would have you believe. News isn't interested in reporting on the good things happening. Religion loves to portray people as scum in order to artificially create demand for their "solution".

This is why I don't believe that "God has a plan." Really crappy stuff happens, but I feel there is an afterlife. That is the only way that I can deal with all this crap is that someday, existence will be good!

We didn't choose to be born. The creation was created perfect, but man chose to sin. God has given us free will, even to worship Him. He also gives us the free will to go to Heaven. We must choose.
