It says there will be a new heaven and a new earth, a world without end, and there will be no sea.
the bible also says; “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens and the earth will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and all the works that are in it will be burned up,”(2 Peter 3 v10). But will be a replaced by a new one; a world without end. This will soon come to pass so get ready.

The "war of Armageddon" will be between Jesus and his angels and the wicked governments and peoples of this earth. The earth itself will not be destroyed. Psalm 37;29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.
Revelation 11;17 saying: “We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. 18 But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” Especially the last line.
Why would God warn about looking after the earth if He was going to eventually destroy it?
Psalm 104; 5 He has founded the earth upon its established places;
It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.
Psalm 37;  9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
It is only the wicked who will be removed. And they form the governments.

someone here said that we are traveling towards the sun, that contradicts the widely accepted Big-Bang theory which states that the planets are moving further APART. Anyways yes the world will end, nothing lasts forever and thats what makes things more beautiful, if the earth were to forever exist nobody would care about AIDS or Global warming or oil because if the Earth cannot die than everything that is part of the earth can not run out, thus life is more beautiful knowing that one day everything will end :D

When God created this world, it was intended to be without end. but sin corrupted it to the point that God will once again destroy it along with sin and those who did not accept Jesus as their savior, and He will purify it again through fire, and give the new world to those who went with Jesus in the rapture. Yes it will, the second coming of Jesus Christ, who will take all who believe in him to heaven, then the devil will come and torture people on the earth for a period of time and mark people with his number 666. But it says in the Bible that "he that believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life", so you have to put your faith in Christ and pray to him, placing your trust in him and his word (the Bible).
