The Same God is the God of Jesus who was the God of Jacob and Moses (peace & blessings of God be upon all the three). The one God, beside whom, there is no God at all.
The Lord of Abraham
The Ahura of Zoroaster
The Eishwar of Krishna
The Jehovah of Moses
The God of Jesus
The Allah of Muhammad
IS all ONE GOD ONLY, who is the Creator, Sustainer and Nourisher of this universe and its beyond. the word GOD means:-
1.G___ FOR GENERATOR OF THE UNIVERSE
2.O___ FOR ORGANIZER OF THE UNIVERSE AND COSMOS.
3.D___ FOR DESTROYER OF EVERYTHING.
All Holy Books tell us, that everything will be perished and nothing will be left but The One, Alone God to resurrect all whom God created for the judgement. All the messengers sent to mankind by the Great, AlMighty God__ died but the true religion of the God lives. So, to be the one nation of God:
BELIEVE IN ONE ALONE GOD___ PERFORM GOOD DEEDS___ BELIEVE IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT AFTER RESURRECTION.
All the messengers preached the same___ before man or idol worship. True followers of the messengers always followed the True religion and there was no difference of message of the messengers.
For example:
Jesus preached:-
1.HONOUR GOD
2.WORSHIP GOD
3.SERVE GOD
And today’s Christian leaders preach
1.Honour God and Jesus
2.Serve Jesus
3.Worship Jesus, Holy Ghost and God
Same is the case with Muslims. Muslims at the messengers’ time believed in God and followed and worshipped God only___ today’s Muslims follow the religion of their leader and call it Islam. Though, messenger Muhammad clearly mentioned the true religion is Islam:
TO BELIEVE IN ONE ALONE GOD___ TO PERFORM GOOD DEEDS___ TO BELIEVE IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT AFTER RESURRECTION.
On record is his word that Islam is to believe in God and to remain firm on that. So, even today we believe in the true religion of all nations__ according to the saying of all messengers.
Krishna Jee said to his father:-
‘Leave worship of all demi-gods and worship One, Alone God Only. Who is the Great Master and to serve whom is the duty of the slaves of God.’
God said to Moses:-
“I__AND I ALONE___AM GOD
AND ALL OTHER GODS ARE UNREAL.”
And in Quran God says:-
“I__AND I ALONE AM THE NOURISHER OF THE UNIVERSE.”
“I am the Lord your God. Worship no God but Me. Do not make for yourself images of anything in heavens or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it. Because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me, on their descendants, down to third and fourth generation.”
(Exodus 20:1-5)

Yes, YHVH is the same God as in the Quraan, and the same as the Goddess' and Gods in any other religion.
The Creator, Maker, Ultimate Deity, all powerful, divine omnicsient force that we assign a variety of names to, assign genders to, fight wars in the name of, kill for, die for, worship, make offerings to and so on, is the same divine force that runs through all things and all life.
Life would not be possible without it, yet members of every religion squabbles over tiny details that aren't really worth a hill of beans in the long run.
There is absolutely no way any mortal being can know what the God/dess, The Almighty Creator, wants us to do, say, believe or how to behave.
Everything written in Any and All holy books are the opinions of a man or group of men who decided exactly what followers of their religion should and should not believe, do or say. Religious fanatics say "God wants this, God thinks that, God says do this, God says do that, and so on.
No one can really know what God wants, and any one who says they can is full of the brown smelly stuff.
Get a clue people, worship the concept of deity that is comfortable for you and leave everyone else alone. It's none of your business what the people next to you, or in the next county, state, country or continent believe. You must respect their right to choose their path, just as you have the right to choose yours.

Oh, and karim, have you read the Quraan? I think not. The God in the Jewish/Christian Bible doesn't permit killing? What were the Holy Crusades about dear?

These four letters (written from right to left) are הוהי and may be transliterated into English as YHWH (or, JHVH).
The Hebrew consonants of the name are therefore known. The question is, Which vowels are to be combined with those consonants? Vowel points did not come into use in Hebrew until the second half of the first millennium C.E.Furthermore, because of a religious superstition that had begun centuries earlier, the vowel pointing found in Hebrew manuscripts does not provide the key for determining which vowels should appear in the divine name.
Today, the common pronounciation of the name is Jehovah.

While Muslims would probably disagree, the answer to your question is "No YHVH is not the same God as the one in the Koran. The reason I can say this with certainty is because YHVH doesn't contradict Himself. For instance Jesus said that in Heaven people do not marry and are not given in marriage so the concept of a person who dies in a "holy war" having virgins waiting for him in the after life is certainly one of many contradictions.

Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Mormons all believe there is only a single God, and he was the God of Abraham. Their teachings may diverge from that point, but they are all worshipping the same God.
If anybody says different, they are just denying God and they will burn in hell forever for that...

YHWH is God. His name sounds like the breath of life. Allah is another name for Satan however. Do not be deceived in thinking that Allah is God. That is blasphemous.
Psa 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The God of the Bible loves the Jews. He sent His own, perfect Son to be a sacrfice for Sin, so that anyone who accepts this free gift may be forgiven and cleansed of sin. The main prophet, Jesus Christ asked God to forgive and love all the faithful.
The God of the Koran hates the Jews. He did not offer a sacrfice for sin and followers must attain works and fight for the kingdom. It's main prophet, Muhammad asked Allah to curse the Jew and Christian.

I think it started out that way. But these days, not so much. Yhwh does not much resemble this "allah" I hear of.
