What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God. Romans 3 1-2

Why does it say that there is much value in circumcision when Jesus came to set us free from the law? Physical circumcision is errilevent.

They dont understand that we as Christians are not hawking a group or a " religion "...we are by the shining face of Jesus pulling off a cosmic prision break...for all who want to leave their spiritual cells....Do you think I am preaching ? No..I am waving a lamp in the smoke filled room of life and showing you the escape door...Do you think I am " pushing my " religion " on people ? No...I am being used by Him to perform spiritual heart surgery on those who cant feel His love...Do you think I am pushing you ? No..I am throwing you a life line...because this is the ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN...THRU JESUS....Do you think I " thump my bible " when I share the good news with you ? No...I am reading you the secret code to the path way to heaven...You stumbled and I have reached out and caught you before you fell.Do you think I represent the " Church (es) " you ride by ? No...I hardly ever go...if ever. His church is in my heart. Why do you struggle when speak ? The injured often do in their pain

Would that not have made believers out of everyone who saw him die?

Did he spend any time on earth after the resurrection? What did he do?

In a online Catholic Bible Study they refer to the Holy Mother Church? Then they go on to say; "Sacred Tradition (CAPITAL T) - these are the teachings of Holy Mother the Church which MUST be believed by all the Catholic Faithful." What are the Sacred Traditions? What if I can't get myself to believe is all these Sacred Traditions? But get this, it goes on to say; "tradition (small t) - these are the stories of the saints and the church, while usually edifying to the Faith, are not required for belief." Where does Jesus fit in all this?

If not, then we shouldn’t have sex or families. Then again, why did god give us choochoos and pipis between our legs? Why would it be such a taboo to think of Jesus having sex or even children? Aren’t family men respectable people?

I can't understand why anyone should be anti- religion anything. But there seem to be some that feel it is there job to put down one's religion, for no reason whatsoever, that they feel it makes them smarter, a hero, or just a plain *ss. Same goes with people who get mad at Athiests. I just don't understand what they think they will accomplish by discriminating and putting down others. It is wrong and sad, and pointless. For example, I am Catholic, and I know what some say about it. About the priests, about our beliefs. But it seems that they just like too pick on us. To look at some horrible people who claim to be Catholic and say all of us are like that. I'm sure there is bad people in every religion. So my question is, if you are "anti-Catholic" would you say someone like Mother Theresa lived her life wrong? That she followed the wrong religion? Because being Catholic is part of her, and just look at what a wonderful woman she was. I don't think it could of happened any other way.

It’s a really primitive way of conceiving god, the all creator. If you HAVE TO believe in a god, please come up with something better already, we’ve been out of the caves a long time now…

Complete Destruction

And now the LORD Almighty says: Because you have not listened to me, I will gather together all the armies of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my deputy. I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the other nations near you. I will completely destroy you and make you an object of horror and contempt and a ruin forever. I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your businesses will fail, and all your homes will stand silent and dark. This entire land will become a desolate wasteland. (Jeremiah 25:8-11 NLT)

Then why doesn't he give atheists reason to believe in he in him/her?

Old, hate-filled, scribblings from the bronze ages dont count. Why doesn't he/she just take a second of his precious time to send a real message? Not some stupid little thing that can be debated.

How about the word "god" written in the sky by lightning bolts? I would believe then.

I've been pretty much anti-religion since I was in my 20's. I'm now in my 50's, and I got the greatest gift ever. God gave me the gift of belief in Jesus. Anyone else ever experience this?

If all the non believers are sticking to their thinking, why are you in this section in the first place? You have no respect for anyone but yourselves, at least that is what it seems like to me. You do nothing but complain about Christians but yet, you are here asking question or just being rude. Personally it is your decision and your life, do what you will. Seems like there is nothing that is going to change that mind of yours, so why bother the Christians?

My friend is always saying how gorgeous Israeli girls are. Do they look (generally of course) different than American girls who are Jewish? More tan? :)

Can you tell the difference? Thank you & no disrespect intended!

I mean can’t creatism simply be a way of explaining how God created humans? Could you please tell me where the bible disproves creatism, and don’t tell me Genesis 1. I mean God works in mysterious ways this can be one example. I mean God created everything, but how he created it is never said, right? Tell me what you think. By the way tell me if you are a Christian or agnostic.
