Good question. The answer is no. You have to have more than just head knowledge when you professing your faith in Christ. The words can be spoken by anyone but does it come from the heart. There is a big difference. Believe me, you know when you are saved. It's important to understand that Christ is literally your savior. What a deal. It's not your mother or father and you don't have to do anything to get it. It's free. You can't earn your way to heaven. If you had to do that then what Jesus did was for nothing. Well, I could keep going but I won't. God Bless.

Who will go to Heaven according to God's Word? - - Mark 16:16, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."
Will everyone who professes faith in Christ be saved? No!- - Luke 6:46-49, "But why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say? He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of the that house was great." In addition, read James 1:21-27.
To have faith is only part, according to the scripture, one must act on it. Remember, the devil believes, also. He knows the scripture better than we do.

If only Christians will go to heaven ..then what happens to People like the Dali Lama? And what happens to the regular man or woman that does not believe this way But lives their lives exactly as Christ told us to when there are so many so called Christians that do not live this way and are nothing but hypocrites? Just because you were baptised and go to church on Sundaysor Saturdays(according to your faith) does not make you the person that God and Christ told us to be. That comes from within your spirit and listening and following what God and Creator has taught us how to live and treat each other and all His creations!

The Qu'ran says that everyone will be judged at a final judgment and that those whose good outweighs their bad will "go to heaven". Everyone will be shown/show all of their actions for their whole life for all to see. If you live your life by Gods laws as given in the Torah and Qu'ran you will not have a problem. However we all know it is impossible to follow the right path every second of the day. This is why Muslims pray for forgiveness and guidance five times a day...to stay as close to the right path as possible.
Elevating Christ to be the same as God will only lead down the wrong path. Indeed God has always said "worship no other than Him". So simple faith in Christ will definitely not get you into heaven. This is in accordance with what is written in the Torah and the Qu'ran. The Gospels (as delivered by Jesus) were re-written specifically to consolidate the power of the failing Roman empire. What is written in the New Testament does not agree with the true word of God as written in the Torah and Qu'ran.
Jesus did not "die for your sins" he simply delivered the instructions of how to follow Gods laws. In fact he didn't die...he is alive and waiting to return to teach the Qu'ran and manage earth during the Golden Age. When he dies then the final judgment begins.

I don't think anyone will go to heaven. I don't believe it exists, and the only thing those who profess faith in Christ will be saved from is thinking for themselves.

Yes I would think so if God means what he says.
Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Eph 2:6 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
God Bless Ya

Dearest reader,
Prince J and Abby girl ...I can't improve upon their answers. But I do remember reading that not everyone that calls upon the Lord will be saved IF HE DOESN'T ALREADY KNOW THEM!
Some people may believe they are "Christians" but their heart is otherwise.
Also...Christ's message is offensive to the world because IT IS NOT TOLERABLE OF OTHER SAVIOUR'S. Christ's apostles including Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament and spread the gospel across Asia and the edge of Europe, was respectful, but not tolerable to the Greek and Roman Gods. Neither shall we be, as they are not TRUTH. He came, died and rose to share that only he will be part of God's plan at the end of time, "when every knee shall bow and proclaim him as The Christ. " (Revelation)
Anyone can choose to believe it or not...it will happen. Start by looking at First John, pray that God will open your eyes and the Holy Spirit will help you.
God Bless you in your Search,
Darcel

We are taught that those who have faith in Christ and follow the word of God will be saved. And that is what I truly believe.

Those who are obedient to God's word and will will go to heaven.
Professing faith in Christ is the initial step towards salvation. After that, as a convert, one should follow Christ's commandments, basically: loving God above all things, and loving one's neighbors as oneself.

I simply can not understand why one who professes in Jesus will save them, Jesus was a man not a God like all the Pharaohs and kings professed to be, what is it you want to be saved from, God did not create you to be saved from any thing, he is no respecter of man or beast he simply created you and all other life around you, our obligation to him is to worship him for what he has given us all, that is life will and intellect so enjoy the now because when you do die only you will know if you have been saved.
