Yes, to God.

According to what I've been taught, any imperfection is an abomination to God. Which is why he provides ways to perfect one's self.

To people? Yeah, lots of those seem to think they're fit to judge others' behavior, even their thoughts, as sinful.

Personally, I don't think about sin a whole lot. By religious definition, I sin constantly. But probably not as much as those who are always examining the lives of everyone else.

I think my favories are the gay haters, who, in the name of carrying God's word to sinners, judge and hate more than anyone except the vocal creationists!

Define abomination.

a·bom·i·na·tion ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-bm-nshn)
n.
Abhorrence; disgust.
A cause of abhorrence or disgust.

There's no single noun that is sin: Sin is a collection of various things. If you mean ALL sin is abhorrent or disgusting, the answer is wrong. AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU SAY NO IFS! It's important. SOME sin is disgusting, and some sin isn't.

Only for religious people.
Sin is a purely religious concept and has no connection with reality.
Normal people live their lives according to the civil law of their nation and are judged and punished under that regime.
Waiting for transgressions to be punished after the perpetrator is dead is a convenience that only benefits the wrong doer.
