If all the non believers are sticking to their thinking, why are you in this section in the first place? You have no respect for anyone but yourselves, at least that is what it seems like to me. You do nothing but complain about Christians but yet, you are here asking question or just being rude. Personally it is your decision and your life, do what you will. Seems like there is nothing that is going to change that mind of yours, so why bother the Christians?

Looking over what I had written seems like I worded everything incorrectly. I should not of used the term "bother" what I was trying to get across was to the people that say all those negative things about Jesus, the sexual things and that is what bothers me the most. The rest is just words, it is the ridicule of Jesus that gets the best of me. If I offended people because of their beliefs I am sorry. But to the people who use Christ name in a sexual way is what I do not understand. Again I am sorry for being such a jerk to all of you.

Entertainment & I don't appreciate the judgment - I do have respect for others and I don't complain (much). I am just trying to get them to use (or at least recognize the existence of) reason and logic, which most religionists continually fail to do. When Christians write or talk about Jesus, I can't help but point out that he is a mythogical character, because, by all accounts I have seen and read, he is - until someone proves otherwise, which they have not.

To be completely honest with you Morris, I dont go directly to the religion section, when i come to yahoo answers, i am a none beliver, i do not critisize anyone for their beliefs,, each to their own as far as i am concerned.....and i do have respect for those who do beleive, the question is though do you have respect for those of us that dont? You come in here (im not talking about other beleivers specifically at this just you.), assuming all non beleivers are rude and disrespectful to all who beleive in religion....what gives YOU the right to say that? perhaps you need not judge others for the choices they make in life.....There are more religions out there, than just your own.....Perhaps it is you that needs to have a little more respect. As for the other christians that come here i have every respect for there beleifs, and the way they want to live their lives as long as they dont come knocking on my door, getting in my face telling me what i have to beleive. Hmmmm.....to take offense or not to take offense. Not...

First off, I do not complain about anyone but the ignorant close minded idiots that spout off w/o thinking outside the box. Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Pagan..I dont care...If you cant pull your head out of your backside, dont bother posting.
Secondly, I do have respect...for almost everyone..refer to the aforementioned personalities. Not only that, I have something even better....an open mind!
Third, I am in this section to see precisely how many people refuse to broaden their horizons enough to consider that they can stick to their beliefs while being intelligent enough to listen to someone else' point of view. Its called conversation and in come circles, polite debate.
Fourth, youre right, my life is in my hands and I shall do as I please.

I don't bother Christians, but a good majority of them seem to bother everyone else. And just because this is the religion and spirituality section, doesn't mean you can't question religion.

I answer questions here because I see monotheists who reject reality and seem to want "armageddon". If something like armageddon happens, it won't be because the bible predicts it. It will be because foolish believers turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I want humanity to grow up. The only way this will happen is if rational adults speak up against the loud voices of irrationality.

Not this again...........This is not the "christian only" section. Not all non believers are rude. One does not need to be a fork to be in the "Food and dining" category. It's called healthy debate. We like to have our point of view heard too you know. Stop being so hateful and exclusionary. Grow up.

and why are you bothering the nonbelievers? just because they dont believe in god doesnt mean they dont have some form of spirituality. it seems to me that by insulting everyone who doesnt believe in god you are disrespecting the larger part of them who are bothering no one with their believes. you say 'nothing is going to change that mind of yours' but how do you know it is their minds that need changing? have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe, they are in the right? and i believe that churches do more bothering to the population in general than athiests and agnostics do to anyone. (anyone but you, that is). if you are sticking to your thinking, they should stick to theirs. you have been more insulting and rude than any of the athiests on here, because they question your beliefs, while you totally disregard, ignore, and try to disprove theirs.

You're the one who chooses to read them idiot, we're not bothering you by sharing scientific evidence (reality) with everybody else. It's called the first amendment! We're going to say/believe whatever we want and you're going to have to put up with it.
