Christian religions?

From a Catholic point of view, Jesus sits at the right hand of God, but he is part of the Trinity that is God. How can he sit spearately from God if he is God? Does God have a right hand? Why should god be sitting, does he have human form like the Greek gods?

i've noticed alot of hostility between the Pagans and the Christians so i've decided to post some links explaining the Pagan and Wiccan point of view, and why many of us fear Christians. Before I get attacked here, i'm not trying to insult anyone. I just want to educate a bit. So after you look at these please give me you opinion. Thank you

It says to me that God disapproves of curiosity, God disapproves of experimentation, God disapproves of research. God wants thoughtless obedience.

God gave you free will, but God wants mindless drones. So, does God want you to choose to be a mindless drone?

PS this is to those christians / muslims who DON'T take the story of creation literally... creationists - sorry, I'm not interested.

Everybody who says they are christians in 90% percent of the time i say are really not.

Why do I say that?,well not I actually the bible says it :

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few [are] chosen
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

So do you claim to be or Are You?

Agnostic here, not wanting to change anyone's religious believes.

If you believe, as I do, that Adam and Eve aren't REAL people, then we would be able to make the assumption that there were people on Earth who had a religion at or earlier in the history of Earth before Judism was developed.

This question is for you to think about what did the human race's religions look like several thousand years ago, at the start of writing, not earlier than writing.

But consider the first religions that had writing. What did they look like? Did they have fundamentalists who claimed "og" and "nog" were the first humans?

What would the earliest religions look like in societies that had the earliest writing?

I have seen plenty of examples of this statement and way of thinking on Y!A and I am troubled by it.

Do we not have a defintion for what qualifies as a "fact"?
Are all opinions equally valid, and therefore all equally "fact"?
Does every person of a particular faith have equal ground to claim that what he/she thinks and believes is true?
What has happened to crediblity?

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen. "

I am considering different religions and think Buddhist is interesting and fits many of my beleifs. I am wondering what practicing this religion involves? Do you go to a temple? Meditate? Go to a group that practices? Or do you mainly do it alone? What do you read ?
Thanks!

I'm sure whomever the guy is who invented the question was intending the question to be used to further the knowledge of ones beliefs. So why do non Christians ask questions then try to prove the person answering wrong? Was there any reason to ask the question in the first place? You either do or don't belive right?

given that if he was born of immaculate conception, it doesn't matter anyways? Joseph therefore was Jesus' stepfather at best, and none of the blood of David would have flown through his veins, right?

give thumbs down to everyone with a different opinion? Do you really only want to hear what you want to hear? Doesn't that make you seperatists? Can't you respect other views?

One day an atheist was walking through the woods, admiring nature, the tall trees and the warm sun. Then all of a sudden a bear jumped out and started to charge him intending to eat him. At the last second the atheist found himself calling out for God. At that moment everything stopped and God revealed himself. God asked the atheist "Why should i who help you, someone who has seen my majesty in my creations of nature and still will deny me and attempt to get other to do the same, do you now wish to be a follower and be saved?" After thinking for a second the atheist said " I don’t want to be hypocritical and convert now but could you at least make the bear Christian?" At that moment everything returned and the bear dropped to his knees before the atheist. The bear put his paws together and solemnly said "Thank you God for this food I am about to eat!"

If your life has been blessed with joy, faith, and a great spiritual awakening and you want to reach out to others to share your blessings with them, but you just can’t yet because you are still in the healing process, what do you do? If you just can't seem to find the energy to do both, is it selfish or wrong, from time to time, to put all your resources into healing? Is it wrong to not want to be a martyr? Is it okay to take time for yourself?

What do you think?
