Do you think it would make sense if the people questioning the bible were the people that already believed it?
Admit it - you didn't think your question through before you posted it.

People question the untouchable. People believe without seeing. People believe without question. That is almost every religion on this world. But does that make everyone who doesn't believe in the others religion wrong? They believe they same things as you yet in a different language. Every religion is so closely related that it is a shame that we just don't make one religion with all the teachings of every religion. People just have to believe what is in their hearts. The heart can hear and see without eyes and ears. Why don't we believe in Zeus or Hercules anymore? They came and touched the lives of people before us. They evolved into the religion we know today. Religion is just a meaning to an end.

Because for some atheists, it's not enough for them to just say "no thanks" to Christianity and then go on their merry way.
To many of them, they must go further than that. They have a psychological need to defame and discredit Christianity as much as possible.
They do this to further validate (in their own minds) their own beliefs and lifestyles.
Christianity teaches certain theological and moral things that these atheists just don't want to hear.
For instance, they don't want to hear that promiscuous sex is wrong. They don't want to hear that there's a place called Hell where we might end up.
These teachings, and many others, just don't jive with their lifestyles or beliefs. So, they feel the need to discredit the source of such teachings.
In so doing, they merely attempt to "score points" and to feel better about their own lifestyles.

It is because the bible has been re-written and re-written that it is hard to find credibility in it. The original Bible is correct but the ones that are out today is just not credible whatsoever.

SIMPLE.
I like to question the hypocrisy so customary within your beliefs.
If you cannot see it, you are simply part of the problem...
