If your life has been blessed with joy, faith, and a great spiritual awakening and you want to reach out to others to share your blessings with them, but you just can’t yet because you are still in the healing process, what do you do? If you just can't seem to find the energy to do both, is it selfish or wrong, from time to time, to put all your resources into healing? Is it wrong to not want to be a martyr? Is it okay to take time for yourself?

What do you think?

Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecc 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Ecc 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecc 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Ecc 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Just relax in Him and ask for His peace to guide your heart. Everything has a season. It is good to Wait on God:

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We share our experiences with others and by doing so we are more blessed. If you are having spiritual problems, then the best place for you right now is at the foot of the cross. Jesus said, Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take time for yourself. I am not clear on what you are asking about being a martyr. All I can tell you is that God wants you to be an example. Live your life so that others see christianity in you without you having to say anything. Share your blessings if you feel led to do so. Take time for yourself as you need it. God Bless You.

In Spritual Realm, Spritual Healing and Sharing is the same...
You get more by Sharing more ...They go Together ...

It is Good to take time for yourself, but one must also continue to Share .. If you are really a devotee of the lord then you cannot live without sharing ...
Because Devotees are unhappy seeing the sadness of Others ...

i did not have your journey. i realized 23 years in the past i grow to be agnostic at suited. Believing in a more effective power does no longer make you Christian. Accepting biblical memories as actuality and accepting the tale of Jesus does. once you've a international view of the international and uncomplicated information of technological information and history and also you do the maths 2/3 of the international are literally not Christian, then it truly is amazingly person-friendly to be agnostic or atheistic. finally it too will grow to be comforting. you start up to love stay and get exhilaration from each thing so a lot more effective. you start up to be pleased with your self because you're moral because of your information of the human journey. you're literally not on my own both. each and each individual in the international is atheistic to the beliefs of others. spread kindness. Do you remember the instructions you get on an airplane - you know, that you should put your oxygen mask on first before attempting to help others? There's a reason for that.

In order to give your all to anything and be truly effective, you have to build yourself up first. In the end, you will do more good as you will have had more strength to do it.

In some situations, you have to draw back for a season to heal, and receive from others rather than to give.

But remember that helping others can speed your own healing.

It is OK to take time for yourself, but this must be done in holiness. It is never OK to backslide. If you need healing, ask and ye shall receive. If you need to have your batteries recharged, then take the time to get them recharged. We all get run down and need relaxation---a worn out Christian is no good to anyone. Jesus loves you.

Girl, its definately ok to take to for yourself. How can you help others, if you are not ok urself. Take time for yourself. Pray a lot, and you should stay off of this site for awhile, until you are better. There's lots of wolves out there who just want to hurt you.

I think you must first nourish yourself, then there will be more than enough to share with others.

Peace!
