I see a lot of people whinning about jesus bashers and the like, but would this even be an issue if Christ Cultists didn't use this medium to proselytize and quote bible scripture and judge others?

As I pointed out in another Question Yahoo Answers is meant to be a database of human knowledge, not a database of ignorance. Bible scripture should never be used to answer a question unless thats what the question is about. Sure, list that pile of poo thats the bible as your source, but when it comes to your answer can you Christ Cultists use your own words? Have you been so brainwashed that you are no longer capable of a thought of your own?

If thats the case, you do not belong here because all you are doing is preaching, not answering questions. You should expect the harsh treatment you get for trying to turn this depository of knowledge into a sunday school lecture.

They want their belief, that a Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe, taught in school. Isn't that outrageous?

These fundamentalist Pastafarians are a danger to those of us moderate Pastafarians, for they give true Pastafarianism a bad name.

If Jesus followed the sabbath why dont we ?
what do people mean when he said he fulfill the law first of all to follow the sabbath is not a law is a commandment so if you dont follow the sabbath you are ok with killing and the rest of the 10 commandments right?
so why would Jesus take away the commandments that he didnt he just took away the law that made other people hurt other people so why not follow the sabbath and yes i know we should worship God everyday i know that but then why would we want to do a rest day cause that day is to not do anything but worship him and help does in need like Jesus did. Jesus rose on sunday and why didnt he rose on saturday ? because it was the day to worship God so why do christians not follow all 10 commandment like it is to say in the bible even in the new testament it says that, in the revelation and most of the books it says that so christians why follow all 10 commandmets except the sabbath ?

First off, doesn't it stop becoming "personal" when you Christ Cultists congregate or try to spread you BS religion to other cultures? Personal means you go into your bedroom , lock the door and dance around with snakes, talk to yourself (pray) or read some fiction (the bible).

Secondly, the whole Idea of a relationship with a person you have never met or even worse a deity that doesn't exist seems borderline delusional...wait, it is delusional. With that logic I can claim I have a relationship with Winona Ryder even though I have never met her, spoken to her. Hell my relationship with her has more substance because I can at least look at a picture of her and get wood.

Before you post any bible mumbo jumbo please read this question:

To put it plain and simple sometimes I feel like Job in the Bible! I know life has a series of test and that you should try to find the lesson in them. But what about when you are too tired to keep running so you are willing to walk away. I have been a pretty decent girl all my life. I never gave my family real problems, doing excellent in school but it seems like all I do is get punished in some way and that I am never prospering but everyone else is. how do you deal with these feelings about God. I know faith and so forth but what if you have past that stage and yet to see a change?

I am reading this great book about a woman's near-death experience, and there is a part of the book that says something interesting:

Because of lack of knowledge or belief, some spirits are virtual prisoners of this earth. Some who die as atheists, or those who have bonded to the world through greed, bodily appetites, or other earthly commitments find it difficult to move on, and they become earth-bound. They often lack the faith and power to reach for, in some cases even to recognize, the energy and light that pulls us toward God. These spirits stay on the earth until they learn to accept the greatest power around them and to let go of the world. When I was in the black mass before moving towards the light, I felt the presence of suck lingering spirits. They reside there as long, as they want to in its love and warmth, accepting it's healing influence, but eventually they learn to move on to accept the greater warmth and security of God.

Many people use belief in a celestial being as an answer to conundrums that appear during our or others lives but as someone who doesn't have these beliefs I want to hear what other peoples oppinions of these are.
If you don't understand what I mean here a few examples:

Psychic connections including telepathy which most people will have experienced although the majority never notice.

Meeting somone the day after you have thought about them for the first time in years, (c'mon its happened to more people than just me)

De-ja-vu which is so intense you know exactly what is going to happen next.

You may not have experienced these exact things but everyone has had situations where they have experienced a coincidence where the odds of it happening are astronomical.

All answers are welcome.
