Yes, I have heard of him. He used to host several TV and radio shows. Unfortunately, he is currently being sued by the Philippine Department of Justice for the alleged raping of Daniel Veridiano, a male ex-member of his church. I don't think I know of any preacher who doesn't accept financial help from non-members, but I do know of many who don't solicit it.
