Well, Dearheart, the first thing I'd ask myself is..."do I feel like I have a demon"? If the answer is "no" then I'd move on to the next question of "why is pastor saying this?". If I belong to an out of the loop church I'd take a good hard look at it before I chose to do anything else. I've found through experience that one person's "demons" are often anothers "angels". They both come in many different forms and as long as you don't feel any different than you have before, then you're probably fine. If you don't, then take a look at yourself first before you allow someone else to. Good luck and blessings to you.

never trust a preacher.from the beginning of christianity the church has used scare tactics to get people under control,to get thier money, and gain thier trust.God dont work like that.if you read revelations you will see where it says "in the end times many false prophets will appear"and many other mentions of the ones who will lie.cheat, steal, ect in the name of God.if you are saved and believe that Jesus was crucified for your sins then you have no demons on you or around you.look at todays clergy, sodimizing alter boys, jim baker getting caught ripping off all that money from the ptl,the other one who went on tv and said if he dont raise ten million dollars by a certain time, that God would kill him.......these are the people we put are trust and money into???i dont think so.Jesus said *go into the closet and confess your sins before God"this means we dont have to become a slave to a church, the real church is inside of you.you dont have to tithe to a church to make the preacher rich, give your self to the homeless,or your favorite charity,or even donate time.what does God need money for?so there are no demons on or around you this i promise you.have a great day and trust in the lord to keep you free of demons and idiot preachers.

"Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came'; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation." (Matthew 12:43-45)

I'd probably stop going to that church. What kind of pastor tells someone something like that? Yeah, everybody has "demons," in the sense that they have things about themselves that they don't like, frustrations, problems, addictions, or things from their past that they perhaps haven't gotten over - but actual demons? Please.
Please add to your question and tell us what kind of church you're attending.
Love yourself, and don't listen to garbage like that. Develop your own relationship with God and don't count on someone with warped ideas to give you his version of things (which is just total b.s.!)
This guy sounds like he has delusions of grandeur.

It means he's hallucinating and you really, really need to get away from that church. Exorcisms are not good, and they can kill. Do not put yourself in danger of something like that.

It means nothing. Your pastor is obviously off center. I would avoid this person. People who talk like that should be feared!

Maybe he means to tell you that he thinks you are possessed.
That statement, in and of itself, is not funny if he meant it as a joke. However he meant it, it seems a bit cruel.
