I am reading this great book about a woman's near-death experience, and there is a part of the book that says something interesting:
Because of lack of knowledge or belief, some spirits are virtual prisoners of this earth. Some who die as atheists, or those who have bonded to the world through greed, bodily appetites, or other earthly commitments find it difficult to move on, and they become earth-bound. They often lack the faith and power to reach for, in some cases even to recognize, the energy and light that pulls us toward God. These spirits stay on the earth until they learn to accept the greatest power around them and to let go of the world. When I was in the black mass before moving towards the light, I felt the presence of suck lingering spirits. They reside there as long, as they want to in its love and warmth, accepting it's healing influence, but eventually they learn to move on to accept the greater warmth and security of God.

such lingering*
A couple of chapters before that when she died she went through this dark tunnel where she was traveling with other spirits of people and animals.
"I did sense, however, that there were some who were not moving forward as I, but were lingering in this wonderful blackness. They either didn't have the desire, or simply didn't know hot to proceed. But there was no fear". "This must be where the valley of the shadow of death is."

According to this woman's experience about her death. Non-believers don't go straight to hell, like the Bible says. They are given a chance to the spirits to remain on earth until they finally accept God as their savior, or they remain in the valley of the shadow of death".
I believe this could be true. God loves us all equally to leave all the souls of the non-believers get lost in Hell. I think that the souls than end up in there are because they chose to, but when they die and they are in that transition before death it is given to them the opportunity to go with God, but the transition is going to be a harder process for their spirits.
I do believe that this Near-Death experiences are true but I guess everybody view God and The Bible differently.

I am reading this for my own entertainment and I have the right to judge it by myself. Did I said that I was going to replace this book that I found by coincidence recently with the Bible? Of course not. But I like to keep my mind open to new ideas and judge them by myself.

some go to hell, most go right to heaven, some are stuck here, and they do learn to better themselves as time goes on. God would give them every chance in haven, God is compassionate much more then we are, or could ever be, and that's why He loves all, cause God knows we all have the ability to change. some come back from heaven to give a message. This is hard to explain, there's a lot more then meets the eye here for most people to grasp.

Supposedly no one goes anywhere until the day that God calls everyone.
So believer or none believer you lay in the ground and rot just like everyone else unless you get cremated then you go up in smoke. Since the beginning of time how many people have died? Where are all these spirits going to fit and not clash since you figure you would have people from the year lets say 459 BC and people from 2006 kicking it together and since they would all be sinners they would be at each others throats so to speak. The lady wrote a book to make money if she really wanted to share an experience she would give the book for only the cost of publishing. The light that people see when they are dieing is because of the retina of your eyes and your brain shuting down. But it is a nice thought tho and does help people accept death so I wont knock it but I do doubt it very very much.

So, you are willing the throw the whole Bible away because some author makes you feel better about the nonexistence of Hell? The lengths people will go to, to NOT have to deal with their sin and the wages of sin, which is a spritiual death. So, go ahead and attach yourself to an unprovable false belief because it makes you feel all fuzzy on the inside. Anything to keep sinning and pay the consequences, huh?

Because you have read the Bible and know what is says, you know the truth. Many people are fooled and taken away from the truth because of books like this, and things that they read. If you are so easily persuaded that the Scriptures are wrong, perhaps you were never saved in the first place?
I say this because: Once you know the truth, you can recognize a lie, and you have not done this, you are going with the lie instead. Bummer, you'll live to regret it.

I think God and Religion is just man-made nonsense. Consider this ...
Imagine you’ve just been launched into space, you look back and watch the Earth through a rush of clouds turn into a beautiful blue green and white coloured ball. Seems so peaceful, how could such an inspiring serene picture be home to so many violent selfish greedy human residents.
The hours pass and Earth turns into an ever reducing multi-coloured little marble, and all around is darkness pitted with twinkling white stars. You strain your eyes and watch Earth disappear into a barely visible flicker of light, and still all around is just darkness pitted with twinkling stars.
You fall asleep and when you awaken everything looks the same. Darkness scattered with distant stars. You’re lost, you have no idea where Earth is, up down, left right, Earth has gone for good. Everything is just darkness and stars in every direction you look.
Now ask yourself, do you really believe that violent life on some planet that you’ve no idea where it is, has the answer to everything around you.
Now consider this ..
How do you know that God (for you believers) really cares about human beings?
Imagine this. You’ve just bought a new home which you furnish with all sorts of nice fittings and fixtures, then prepare the grounds and garden. You plant a wide range of trees, shrubs, flowers, plants and vegetables. You clip and prune as time goes on, spray the weeds, and generally keep your property in good shape.
Many years pass and your gardens are flourishing, not a weed to be seen anywhere. You head off on holiday, a weed pops up and bugs start to crawl all over it. Not to worry, when you return home you spray the gardens, killing all the bugs and weeds. Everything is back to normal.
Now consider the universe. After billions of years a little planet (weed) called Earth pops up and it’s crawling with bugs called humans. Do you really think the gardener (or creator) really cares about the bugs and weeds? Do you think the gardener cares if he destroys you? Do you think that the bugs (humans) on the weed (Earth) have any idea what’s going on in the rest of garden (universe)? What happens to all human beings is just the same as what happens to all bugs and weeds.

Face it...we don't know. I really don't see why you guys go on and on about it. Argue and bicker about something that can be proven.

Ok, according to the random misfirings of a dying womans neurons, atheists are doomed to be earthbound spirits. Is there a QUESTION in there or are you just waiting for people to say "hey, I heard that too"?

Atheists, and non-Christians, for the most part do no believe there even is a hell to go to after death. This isn't even an issue that worries them.

Don't believe it, for it's all deceits. Satan is called the great deceiver and the angel of light. After God, he is second on power of the universe. Don't be like Eve and Adam, for god told them something, and they let themselves be deceive by not paying full attention to the word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, and if It teaches us that the unbelievers and sinners will go to hell, we ought to believer. As a Christian, I'm a christ follower. i will put my trust in Him alone for him alone has the power to save.
