They're just a guerilla group. The Un didn't do anything when israel were destroying the innocent palestinian's homes. Hezbollah felt that they needed 2 help the vulnerable palestinians.

You have to understand that this is a parable. If it is a parable, then you cannot use the elements in the parable literally. If you do, then you are faced with serious interpretation problems. the following is a short list of problems that occur:

1. In v.22 we see Lazarus carried to Abrahams bosom. Why his bosom and not the bosom of JESUS who saved him?
2. v.24, Where else in the Bible does it say that those that are in heaven and in hell will be able to communicate with each other?
3. v. 24, Why is the rich man appealing to Abraham?
4. v.24, Why send Lazarus with a drop of water on his finger?
5. Would a single drop be sufficient?

These are some of the most obvious questions that anyone who reads this carefully would ask. So, now I am asking you. How would any preacher reconcile these questions with the rest of the Bible?

How do you lead a disciplined life, while avoid getting caught in the routine in regards to your religious/spiritual life, esp. prayer, church attendance, daily devotions, family worship. It's too high on one octave, and too low on the one below it. I end up having to sing harmony, and even that is just not on my key. I end up switching octaves throughout the song!

Without giving the immedate answer "no", let me give you an example. We have a crusader in the 11th century who doesn't even know what is Christianity about since he doesn't speak Latin. He slays a bunch of Arabs what he believes is for the glory of God. Is he now a sinner to get in Hell or a benighted person who deserves Heaven?

I don't understand. If you do not love the Lord, and you are not trying to love him, why even bother coming to this category? People come here to learn more about the Bible and ask questions, or answer peoples questions and it seems like the ones that answer some of them are atheists and not realizing that you are blaspheming against the Holy Spirit.

1. The real, original and genuine Name of our Creator in the

Seems to be a strange correlation between Republican Christianity and being heavily armed. Isn't this somewhat unChristian? Not kill, love one another, turn the other cheek, keep your eyes from seeing bloodshed etc.

I here that as a reason there must be a God a lot of times and I don't quite get it. As far as we can prove, nothing has ever been created ever. Things that were already there can be manipulated and broken down and built up so that it's unrecognizable as what it once was, but that isn't creation. You can't create or destroy energy or matter, so I'm not sure where anyone gets the notion that you must have a creator to have anything. Who made the decision that matter couldn't have always been here but any kind of god could have always been here. It just sounds like shoddy early human reasoning to me.

I'm just really curious based on what I see here. Please answer honestly:

1. Are you a high school graduate, still in high school or did you not finish high school?
2. Was your high school public or private, and what country was it in?
3. Did you take biology in high school?
4. If you did take biology, was the topic of evolution taught?
5. If so, was it taught in much detail?
6. Did your biology teacher ever say any of these sentences to you: 'evolution states that we come from monkeys', 'evolution means that there is no God', 'evolution has never been scientifically observed', 'evolution is connected to the theory of the Big Bang'?
7. As far as you know, did your biology teacher believe in evolution?
8. Do you believe in evolution?

Sorry for so many questions. I'm really honestly not trying to 'prove' anything - I'm just surprised by the different levels of knowledge here concerning evolution and am curious about their origins. Sorry if my question takes so much time...

Because it seems every denomination, culture, race, and generation has a different one. He is like an everyman, we all see and project ourselves in him. It is amazing how, with all of us using the same gospels as source, we come up with so many different and contradictory Jesuses. Even the Muslims and Hindu's have versions of him. It seems EVERYBODY loves Jesus and Jesus loves EVERYBODY, no matter how much they hate each other. In many ways, he is more likable then Gilligan on Gilligan's Island.
