Hi
This is a very good questions but very complicated.
The easy answer is: Jesus was of the middle-east. Nazareth/Jerusalem. Take a look at the larger percentage of "native" people who live there now. Not the Jews who packed up, purchased a plot of land and called it Israel but, those who lived there for generations. Jesus was no different. If he were lighter or darker, he would have been rejected by all. He looked just like everyone else.
Concerning the Islamic view or him, in terms of how he looked, there is none! Islam doesn't in any shape or form, paint him looking a certain way. In fact, Islam avoids the matter as to focus more on his character, behavior and gifts to mankind.
Perceptions of Jesus:
- Christians: Jesus as god or the son of god.
- Jews: No more than a man not evan a prophet-
- Muslims: A prophet born from the virgin Mary with a huge gift to man kind. Muslims also beleive that Jesus will return again. Islam does not teach the Jesus was the son of god or god in the flesh.

I was almost going to just mark this question a bad one, and move on.
But thinking about it a little more, I instead marked it as good. Because even Jesus (Christ, of the Bible) said there would be "False Christs":
"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Matthew 24:24)
So, my answer: the true one.
I don't mean that to be a flippant answer. I mean true as in an arrow, constant, reliable, certain, real, accurate, without flaw, not bent, undistorted, solid, consistant...
Ah, but where to find documents that are true?
If you really want to know, you have your work cut out for you. Jesus, the Jesus I know, didn't say it was easy to be a Christian:
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

This isn't a question, but a rant. It's funny that you say "even Muslims and Hindu's (sic) have versions of him." One could argue about Jesus in Hinduism, but Islam is obvious. He is considered a great prophet of Islam, like Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel and the other Jewish prophets, and his mother is in the Koran more than she's in the Bible.
Gilligan was a little punk-*** ***** who only managed to avoid being eaten by staying scrawny. Peace.

Muslims honor and respect Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him and all of God's prophets). Muslims believe that he was one in a long line of honorable prophets, who taught his people to worship and obey the One True Lord, the Creator. The Qur'an describes him:
Of all the prophets, Jesus is probably the most written about in the Qur'an. Various stories in the Islamic text talk about his miraculous birth, his ministry, his disciples, and the message that he brought to his people. Muslims always speak of Jesus with respect, and "Issa" (the Arabic rendition of his name) is a common given name in the Muslim world.
The Qur'an makes it very clear that Jesus was a prophet, chosen by God to teach his people, but not associated with nor part of God Himself. He performed miracles, by the grace and power of God alone. He of himself could do nothing -- all of his glory pointed back to the One Almighty God.
In the end, Muslims believe that the message Jesus preached was one and the same as the message that all of the prophets brought to their people: Worship Almighty God, and Him Alone. Have faith, and live your life according to that faith.

Good point. However, your destiny lies in the choices you make . You cannot blame anyone else for not knowing ... so pick up the Bible and read about it for yourself ... suggest you start with the book of John in the new testament.

Here's what i would tell you....just go with your heart. Do what you feel is right....do what your heart tells you, you should do. Don't listen to your head or other people. I say that because when it comes time to the final judgement we will not be the ones judging you. GL!!
