We are to pray without ceasing, at least those of us following Christ are. I try to make every thing I do a prayer to God. I pray while walking anywhere, standing in grocery lines, I pray while doing the dishes. I believe that my job as Mother and wife is as much a Vocation as my job as a nurse. Do you strive to "Pray without ceasing?" Why or why not? Just something to think about.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Why do you cling to the idea that you're the special creation of a deity, who loves you personally and is intimately concerned about your behaviour? Why do you believe that the entire universe exists solely for your benefit? Will your monstrous ego ever allow you to accept reality, to accept what you really are instead of what you wish to be?

Its about the dozens of faiths-Christianity, Islam, Jewery budhism, Hindu, etc. The blind followers rely too much on Destiny, God's Will, Sin , birth, past life etc. They make you follow the clergy and not rationalise the person's action. Its a war between the unverified divinity and the scientific laws of cause and effect. Seeing God in ones dream is no proof that He exists. Its a tussle between theology and laboratory.

Many people, though they don't actually bow down, hang images(posters and such)of celebrities, and idolise them, want to be with them, and want to be just like them.

So, in a way, are not many people worshipping the famous, and by doing so, going aginst The LORD?

I also think that there shud be separate section for each religion //

What if Jesus tried to talk to us through Yahoo! Answers? Answering peoples questions on what is the purpose to life? Is there a God?
Do you think Jesus would become the #1 scorer on the leaderboard?

All Christian religions, though all are slightly differant, want to obey The LORD, So if you deny, and put down, anouther Christian religion, are you not, in a way, denying The LORD?

I asked this question a few days ago, but have removed the example i gave, because i used the names of certain Christian religions, and people claiming to be Christians, insisted on posting such RUDE, UNGODLYLIKE ''ANSWEARS', so, in the hope that i will get a decent answear, this is the modified version(i deleted the first one.)

Nobody is able to prove the existence of God logically. One jentleman was answering like this ' I have not created '. He explained reading the second question " there is no need of an answer..But he has to answer the third one .He answered like this
" the questioner himself can very well go and ask the creator why he has created this universe.Do you think that the answer is up to
the standard ? If anybody is able to proove the existance of the
creator.

Does your faith and the love of our Creator show in all you do and say? I am a Catholic and I dearly want people to be able to look at me, or listen to me,or even read what I write and say,"Hey she is a Christian." I want the fact that I follow Christ to show. I want Him to shine through me. This is an area that I sadly need to work on.

Time and time again I have heard people on here say "The Koran teaches that anyone who is not Muslim is an infidel and must convert to Islam or be killed..." or words to that effect. Is this what is written? Is this what is believed?

Ok so everytime a disagreement arises a bible thumper will throw the bible in your face as proof of their argument. I would like an answer that if the bible is the source of all answers why does it tell us ok to sell daughter as slave, kill mother for wearing garment made from 2 kinds of thread, etc? Is it really ok to do these things? ***My main question is that if you ignore half of the bible what makes the other half valid? Really not trying to be offensive but confused since it seems to be a "Pick what you like, call if word of God and discard what you don't like".

I see 11:11 all the time. If not, it's always double digits like 12:12, or 18:18 or 10:10 ... Usually on PC clock, digital clocks...

I am not saying that i stared at the clock until it turns 11:11... But it always seems to be that number whenever you are checking the time. And of course, I don't check the clock all the time. Sometimes it feels that I will check the clock somehow exactly at that kind of timing.. It's strange. Even on my mileage meter, when all 1s appear: 11111

What exactly is it? Why is happening? How do I find out even more than what the search engine offer? Anyone to enlighten me?
