by lack of response to the first try of this question, I have renamed it and tried again in a different section.

What if Jesus tried to talk to us through Yahoo! Answers? Answering peoples questions on what is the purpose to life? Is there a God?
Do you think Jesus would become the #1 scorer on the leaderboard?

If Jesus was here in this day and age he would probably be a hermit living alone in some far off reaches of the world because of all the sin.

Jesus does talk to people here on Y/A when He gives his brethren messages via the Spirit of Christ or when they post from the Bible. But to answer your question in the way that it seems that you mean it, I would say that Jesus would not be the #1 scorer because this site is like a random sampling of the people in this world. And Jesus said to his scoffing brothers...

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.

...and to his disciples..."If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:18-19

So I'm pretty sure that He would have a lot of people blaming the actions of sinful mankind on Him, telling Him that God is a myth, asking Him why He "hates gays" and telling Him that He needs to shut up and keep his "religion" to Himself, etc.

"And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been carried out in God." John 3:19-21

Sure he would be the leader on the board and would be flooded with questions! The sad thing of it is people just don't understand that you actually can get answers from God if you are a born again Christian. Until they are saved they have no clue as to what it is all about. When you accept Jesus as your personal Savior and believe him to be the son of God your whole perspective changes and you receive that power. The answers come in unexpected ways and it is awesome to see little prayers answered! It is a miracle to see how he answers the big problems of our lives. You can also receive answers from the Bible. Yes there is a God and I pray daily for those that don't believe that.

Not a chance. Spiritual depth and Yahoo Answers are disjoint sets. There can be no connection. How dare you ask such a question?

Did the Holy Spirit put you up to this?

I am going to report you, this is dangerously close to a good question. We don't do very many of those here and we are awefully close to the quota.

No, most people in here don't want the truth they want freedom to live in their sin and be happy with it.

What they don't understand is their is a void in their lives that can only be filled by the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

But then again Jesus changed the hearts and minds of so many when he was here before, who knows he might be number one at that.

God Bless you all and don't forget that he left you all a message, it's called the Bible.

Nope, he would get shouted down by nutters, and accused of bieng an atheist too probably.

Says this Random_Australian.

Now I think about it......

I think that Jesus would not spend enough time here to get the points, even if he did have some great answers.

If everyone knew he was Jesus, then perhaps.

Jesus was humble, living and talking with the 'least among us'. He would not be a #1 scorer, in my view. Why would people listen to him here, and not in the rest of their lives?

Doubtful ... today's religious experts are no different then the ones in the first century. They all KNOW they have the answers and do not want to listen to anything that is not affirming to their narrow view of the world.

He is trying to talk to us through everything and everyone, including Yahoo Answers.

Nope, He would be rejected just as He is now as most that come on this site are looking for putting down truth, not learning it.

Nope.

Look at 95% of the questions here.

Look at 95% of the answers...Jeez.

The signal to noise ratio is very very low.
