cretinists and Xians keep asking why there are still monkeys if humans and monkeys share a common ancestor. I have a question, where are these still monkeys? I've never one

Was it:

“Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Mathew (27:46)

Or:

“Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” meaning, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Mark (15:34)

Or:

“Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.” Luke (23:46)

Or:

“It is finished.” John(19:30)

Seems to be some confusion

I underlined opinion, because I'm not interested in what Wikipedia says - I'm interested in what you say.

'I am a Christian but I don't believe that Jesus was anything more than a mortal man' --

Can you accept this sentence? Or in your opinion is belief in Jesus as a divine figure a central tenet of Christianity?

9 ‘These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers—that you may eat. 10 But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you. 11 They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination. 12 Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales—that shall be an abomination to you. Leviticus 11:9-12 (NKJV)

Does this mean God talked to Moses, or is it possible that Moses saw a bunch of iodine deficient humans dropping like flies from the shellfish and said he I'll make a law against it because this will keep them alive?

Just wondering, I'm just an agnostic creating a database of questions and answers, not trying to convert anyone. Thanks.

sounds like he changed his mind about people and sin. He created sin with Adam and Eve, and then said, hold on sinners, here ya go, this guy will die for all your sins. Sounds like a beaurocratic f-up. Yes?

I have heard that you have to have faith and accept God in to your heart as your #1 worship to be in Heaven with him. Somehow, that don't seem right to me. I belive being a good person and living a good life is what counts. What you think?

By this I mean someone other than God or Christ. As a Catholic I believe that these two are a given for all Christians. For Muslims someone other than Mohammed. For me it is my mother as she is the strongest person I have ever know, she sacrificed so much for us and her faith in God is awesome. The only thing she ever asked of me when I chose to change my religious beliefs is that I remain Christian.

Sorry to the LDS...silly questions just keep popping into my head all the time. I know that the LDS believes that its President(s) is a Prophet, seer or revelator.
When your seers lead you into undertakings that are dismal failures, such as, the Kirtland Bank, the United Order, the gathering of Zion to Missouri, the Zion's Camp expedition, polygamy, the Deseret Alphabet and more recently the successful hoax perpetrated on the church by manuscript dealer Mark Hofmann, do you drop the level of the Prophet to something less, or is he forgiven for an "x" amount of wrong prophecies?

As a black man am I allowed to attain a position of power within the LDS? Could I eventually be a Prophet in the church? Can you list some prominent black people who have attained positions of power within the LDS for me? Im looking to join, but I dont want to just sit in the back pews and hold the door open for others.

Oh one other thing....do you still consider Black people as "cursed"?
