Thanx all. Sorry, it was Pilate, not Pilot.

As a Jew I feel all Christians should thank me for doing the deed your god said had to happen to save all your souls.

It is ironic that a supposed predestined act that is to help all mankind has to have a responsible party to punish for allegedly fulfilling..

Sure, that is what it says in the Bible. What about it?
If a fanatical religious and political minority wanted Christ crucified, there was no reason for Pontius Pilate to agree and order it to be done. He was the highest Roman authority in Palestine and had the power to decide for or against. He ordered the crucifixion, so - yes - technically the Romans did it.

1 he did not try very hard!
2 It was the Kenites who screamed Crucify Him.
3 Pilot is the one who put the plack over Christs head that read This is Jesus King of the Jews.

Jesus was born, raised, and a practicing Jew, too, you know. And not the only individual to be crucified that day. So why aren't you outraged that about the two other people, who were probably also Jewish, that were crucified with Jesus?

Wake up. Jewish people are people - just like you and me. If an entire religion is going to be villified, then Christians ought to be, too. The Spanish Inquisition was about Christians killing other Christians, after all. Why aren't you horrified by that?

Grace unto you and peace,
From God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

They also cried: "his blood [be] on us, and on our children" (Mt 27:25)... 'cross' references: Deut 19:10; 2Sam 1:16; 1Kings 2:32-33; Acts 5:28-30; etc.

Not to mention the will of God: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice", which "meaneth" I will have grace and not law; And the "not" part is not then, not now, not ever, for His Grace never desired sacrifice for sin which is of the law and by the law, nor ever took pleasure in it: Ps 40:6; Ps 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Mt 12:7; Heb 10: all.

Not to mention the promise (eternal life) comes after doing the will of God (I will have grace and not law), which Christ: "the end of the law" did, and we are to do as the body of Christ having the mind of Christ(no law = no sin = no death = no hell following). For the head of the body did notably author "eternal salvation", but it's up to the body to do it (also flush the law, as dung, die to the law daily as Paul did).

Law: "touch not, taste not, handle not". Why not? For by the using of ordinances(laws) "all perish" (Col 2).

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Regardless of who actually crucified Jesus, it had to be done. It was God's will that Jesus die for our sins so that we would be born free of sin and could find the kingdom of heaven. I believe God played a very important role in the crucifixion of Jesus (he would have made sure it happened no matter what).

Everybody is responsible for Christ's death....me you them us.....jews, romans...we are all sinners. Besides, Jesus forgave those who crucified him. We shouldn't cast the blame on anybody. What would you, I, we, they have done if you, I we , they, had lived at that time? Would we have been part of the coward crowd or would we have tried to stop this? besides, Christ died to save us....

The Romans killed Jesus, regardless of whether Pilot washed his hands. How can you wash your hands of the murder of someone you sentenced to death, especially when you are the governor? Jesus was an agitator and the Romans killed him for it. The Jewish authorities, who were Roman puppets, aiding in the killing.
