And molesting children is also a sin. Sorry to all you priest going straight to hell. I would rather be gay than to be a part of an organization who allows there Priest to rape little boys.

I never read the Da Vinci Code, and one must keep in mind that it is a fiction novel. I usually don't derive my morality from works of fiction.

What is your point, the Da Vinci Code is bad, or that homosexuality is a sin?

Unless, of course, "Di Vince code" is a completely different book, which I have not heard of before.

The Bible says, "no man shall lay with another man as with woman" (I'm paraphrasing here). Also masturbation is a sin because you are "spilling your seed" (putting it in a place where no fertilization can come from it). The reason for masturbation being a sin would also make homosexuality (in men) sinful. I however, have yet to read, "The Davinci Code", so I don't really have an opinion on that

Did it say it was a bad thing or a sin there is a difference...

Ae a sin is what silly demented folk who want to bring back burning alive girls for healing the sick consider wrong...

The book mentioned the church regarding independant free women sinners.

It was saying dufus that the whole concept of sin was wrong as it was all based on fear of human sexaulity...

So mate what you consider sinful is often wrong, the whole concept of sin is immoral. You lot who believe in sin have no real morals just a rule book...

And the da vinchi code still shows the church up as evil sexsit scum

So there not so bright one....

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

With love in Christ.
