God is male, and is referred to as He in the bible. Your avatar looks as though you are male. How would you feel if someone referred to you as she? God's holy spirit would not have impregnated Mary, if it had been female.
God made man in His own image. Eve came from his rib.

With that logic if the word of God refered to him as heavenly mother would that also not be sexist?

God is neither male or female he is a Spirit. By HIS creative force he took on the role of a male in the incarnation of Christ.

u see ur question answers alot of question. every religion when they talk about god, they say he or him or father, this is proof that the religions are fiction and created by random ppl.along time ago man had a complete voice in soceity and it as them who did most of the thinking and talking back then. so when they created the religions randomly they called god father coz it was man who created them. however there is 1 religion in which god is not mentioned as a father or mother or whatever. he is mentioned as a supreme being, neither male or female, a supreme force. this religion is the oldest and makes sense about our life. Name that religion ? if u want some proof i will give u some

God was referred to as the heavenly father because everything was written by men of course. Even nowadays, the priests are mostly frightened little men who claim that it says in the bible that women should not be priests. Well seeing as the bible was written by men, of course it says that!!

Quote from somewhere in the Internet; "The Bible teaches that woman brought sin and death into the world, that she precipitated the fall of the race, that she was arraigned before the judgement seat of Heaven, tried, condemned and sentenced. Marriage for her was to be a condition of bondage, maternity a period of suffering and anguish, and in silence and subjection, she was to play the role of a dependent on man’s bounty for all her material wants, and for all the information she might desire on the vital questions of the hour, she was commanded to ask her husband at home."
May be that's one of the reason God is referred as Him.

Sounds like the issue of sexism is more from you.
You are questioning God's word.
It is the way it is. Period.
If you think it should be changed you have no concept to understand God and why it is written and followed.
You can change anything you desire but, check out
Revelations 22:18 & 19

Why do you refer to yourself as a guy not a girl? Are you being sexist?
