Has anyone heard of the 11:11 phenomenon? What exactly is it?

I see 11:11 all the time. If not, it's always double digits like 12:12, or 18:18 or 10:10 ... Usually on PC clock, digital clocks...

I am not saying that i stared at the clock until it turns 11:11... But it always seems to be that number whenever you are checking the time. And of course, I don't check the clock all the time. Sometimes it feels that I will check the clock somehow exactly at that kind of timing.. It's strange. Even on my mileage meter, when all 1s appear: 11111


What exactly is it? Why is happening? How do I find out even more than what the search engine offer? Anyone to enlighten me?

Well, you have asked a valid question, all right. And it's a good one. Life abounds with coincidence and synchronicities. You know, things which happen in unusual ways. There seems to be a fine dividing line between conincidence and something else. If something happens a couple of times and catches your eye, no problem - it just happened to work out that way, but if something happens fifty times exactly the same way, this is somewhat beyond coincidence, don't you think? I think E.S.P., and who really has it, may work this way. If someone gets lucky and tells you something significant a couple of times, fine. But if someone is doing this on a regular basis and has a percentage factor of say, 75% accuracy of his E.S.P. insights, then it is something beyond coincidence. The phenomenon you speak of may be a passing thing, or it may indicate something beyond all that. At this point, my insight needs to step back, because of this fact: the importance or significance will come directly from whatever you, personally, assign to it. You may find it very significant. It may be just plain annoying. But you need to remember that almost every scientific breakthrough is based upon giving anything studied enough time to explain itself. This thing you ask about which you experience may pass. You may just stop seeing or noticing this kind of phenomenon. Then you will have your answer: it was just a passing and unusual aspect of Life. But if it continues, keep asking everyone for his feedback, or "take" on it. Eventually, you will gain real understanding of what is really going on, here. All I ever heard about it was that it was lucky if you caught the clock at 11:11, 10:01, or 12:21, so you should make a wish. Don't put much thought into it, just hope your wish will come true.

I have heard of it too. In the US, there is a radio host, George Noory, who talks about it.

It is also possible that we just notice that configuration more. I don't know.
