The Church is "Where two or three are gathered in My Name" I am not stating that we should not attend a Church but that I feel we should strive to recognize that Our families are also domestic churches.

Dear Cheese my sons are being raised in our faith. They are educated and at 11 and 13 would stand up for their Savior. I home school my sons. There education is that important. I will not have the government indoctrinate them.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The Church is a fellowship of localized believers who have joined themselves together; that's as domestic as it gets - however, I agree that if we cannot live within our homes as they are a body, much like the body of Christ, then we have a broken home, even if it's the mom, dad, and x amount of kids. This I know from experience. My Daddy is a preacher, my mother is a singer and musician. They have me and my younger sister. Only one of has talents that complement either one of my parents - writing, singing, speaking, etc., the other one is so envious, jealous, or whatever, that it actually is like a missing arm for our family, because her talents go to waste, because she doesn't her use talents for our family, such as logistical planning, cooking - which is excellent, in general secretary. The sad part is, without her talents, the loads of the rest of us are doubled. But she's not "out front" therefore, she has removed herself from the body. They always say charity starts at the house and this true - but just as the church suffers when one member doesn't want to fulfil the role Christ has given them, so can the family body.

We attend church once or twice a week plus seasonally there are extra services. We attend a weekly Bible study. We have a family daily Bible study and we have prayers before and after meals and at night before we sleep.
