ATTITUDE

"Watch you manner of speech if you wish to develop a peaceful state of mind.
Start each day by affirming peaceful, contented and happy attitudes
And your days will tend to be pleasant and successful."

By Norman Vincent Peale

"Your attitude determines your altitude!"

By Denis Waitley

"A great attitude does much more than
Turn on the light in our worlds;
It seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities
That were somehow absent before we changed."

By Earl Nightingale

"If you envy successful people,
You create a negative force field of attraction that repels you
From ever doing the things that you need to do to be successful.
If you admire successful people,
You create a positive force field of attraction
That draws you toward becoming more and more like
The kinds of people that you want to be."

Listen I know alot people wonder and do research about God's Existence but ask yourself do you really want to know?
do you really want to see proof of God, their is no defenent proof of God neither is their proof of him not existing but do you really want to know. You might find it better to keep your faith and stay faithful and see. wheather then to assume and regret

Well, was he?! By the way he acts I sure think he was, I'm glad he got his wrists nailed to the cross. I'm not buying that salvation though, more like salvation for Hell! Damn satan, he always comes in the trickiest forms. Jesus shed his blood for us to suffer! I think he deserved to suffer.

I think jesus was scouraged until his entire body was bleeding, then nailed through his wrists to the cross in a place where he felt extreme pain from the piercing of the nail, and also when he breathed his chest collapsed. Do you think Jesus deserved this?

Is that cool or what?

Why can't we just relax, enjoy the beauty of it all, and play in the dance?

It will all be over soon enough.

Why create our own suffering through endless greed? Isn't that crazy?

The Church has repeatedly stated that divorce is a sin. If a couple is just incompatible after a few years into their marriage, wouldn't God be happy to see the two people be happy apart from one another, than to see them "suffering" having to remain married to one another?

I have always had a hard time believing in a Hell of burning torment. I can remember sitting in Church on Sunday morning listening to the Preacher talk about how everyone who was a sinner was going to burn in Hell for-ever.Then in the same breath the preacher would say God is love. This made no sense to me, and I felt forced out of fear of going to Hell to love God. Then I read a passage out of Jer.7:31, which basically says that the thought of burning someone had never even entered his mind. Isn't God the same God today as he was then? I do not believe in a buring Hell, what I do believe in is separation from God for-ever. I no longer have the fear of burning in Hell and being tormented for all eternity. No wonder so many people turn away from our loving creator. How can Christians really believe that our father would be so cruel as to punish and torment one for-ever? Hasn't the word Hell just been mistranslated? How can Hell be thrown into the lake of fire,if it is already hell

pretty much meaning, since the days where a man had to work for the father tending the sheep and stuff before he could ask to marry one of the daughters, like in Jacob's story I believe. Who said and during what time period was it determined that there would be one man and one woman for each other?

It was daylight at the time, then the sky went dark. Was the dark sky due to a total eclipse of the sun? Or was it the hand of God who physically caused the Sky to go dark. Afterwards, the dark became light. Does all this have any significance that we should be aware of?

Think about it. The man invokes the name of God to justify mass murder. I would not be surprised if he could swivel his head 360 degrees. Maybe that's why we can't find him.

"he who takes the highest and most self-respecting view of his own welfare which it is in his power to conceive, and adheres to it in spite of conventionality, is a christian whether he knows it and calls himself one, or whether he does not."

i don't believe in god, but i was raised a roman catholic and i find this quote interesting. that is a good description of me, and i have always found that having those traits is a big part of why i am not a believer.
i especially find the words "his own welfare" interesting. any thoughts?

PS - please don't try to convert me, this is about the quote, not my soul.
