If you believe in the traditional Christian god, you'll go to Heaven, regardless of what happens on Earth. By this tenet, God loves you and would not wish you to go to Hell. So, when you die, he would do everything in his power to prevent you from going to Hell (if it were outside of his power, then he'd hardly be a god).
If you don't believe in that god, then you might believe in a god who is willing to allow some of his creation to go to Hell simply for doing as he wills. In that case, there's no guarantee that being a good person, acknowledging Christ, or repenting your sins would get you into Heaven. God is clearly sadistic enough to deny you your wish.
In short, you don't need to worry about it. A loving god will ensure you go to Heaven. An uncaring god would provide no guarantee that your actions would warrant passage into Heaven.

Where we spend eternity is not dependent on what WE do, but on what Jesus Christ has ALREADY done -- and whether or not you accept that. We are all sinful beings and none of us can ever be good enough to make it to God. In fact, God says that even our best efforts are like filthy rags compared to His holiness (Isaiah 64:6).
Once we realize that we can never reach God on our own, we see that God granted us grace by coming to earth in the form of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. If we accept what He did for us, then we serve God out of love and gratefulness for all He has done for us.
It is this relationship restored through accepting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross that ensures we will be in heaven after we die.

it's a common error to think you go to Heaven because you lived a good life. None of us live good enough to deserve Heaven. But God loves us so much He planned a way for us to go there. Accepting the blood of Jesus to wash away all your sin, and commiting your life to God saves your soul so you can go to Heaven. Then we do good works because we love others, and try to live a life that pleases God.

Nobody is perfect. God is a loving creator, and won't condemn us to eternal torment for making the careless human errors that everyone makes.
We'll all get to heaven, even very bad people, because, I believe, God will fix whatever made us evil, and then let us in.
Also, our dear pets will be there, too. I truly believe this.

We all go to Heaven, or the Other Side. There is no Hell. The only punishment we are given is what we do to ourselves, guilt, fear, shame, etc. Hell is basically here on Earth, negativity. In God's eyes, we are all His children and He would not cast us away from him no matter what.

Heaven and Hell are here, not there. We all are eaten by God, good or bad, after we die. Well, except for the Elijah's and the Enochs and such warriors as these, but they are rare.

Did you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?
If not, from what I hear, then you are gonna burn. But you'll have lots of company.
My advice: be a good human being.

Everyone sins--everyone. That is why you get saved--asked Jesus to come into your life and pray and try to do God's will. Ask for forgiveness everyday and know that you will have faith and you will go to heaven. Doing good deeds and living like Christ would like you to live is important, but it takes asking for forgiveness and praying and asking God to come into your life --in order to go to Heaven. God loves you and you need to daily ask him to bless you. He expects you to ask him for that--read the prayer of Jabez and follow that as well as getting saved and having faith.
