Many of the people question justified their rudenss on the non-believers. Here are two reasons why I reject this justification:
1) Because you don't justify bad behavior by pointing out at bad behavior; and 2) Because non-believers don't claim to be better people than they really are, while Christians do.

With that, I would appreciate an HONEST answer to my previous question:

No offense intended, I'm curious though; is this how you'd address someone in your faith or is this exclusive to this format. I'd be very interested to observe the development of conversation along these lines.

The majority of people simply believe what they are told, follow the company line, let others think for them. They do not own the position they hold, but hold it for others. They would rather not rock the boat of their peers. They have not seriously thought through and struggled to come to a sensible conclusion about their beliefs. If they would they would see the common sense of a Biblical world view.

Most of these people do not even understand the historicity of the Bible. They do not understand principles related to the proper interpretation of literature or how to determine the historical reliability of an ancient document. They have no real concept of the basis of belief or the implicatinos of what they believe. They know nothing of how to determine it's truthfulness or how they arrived at what they believe. They do not understand the difference between history and mythology, fantasy and reality.

They think they are right and others are wrong. They think Christians are wrong. That is very arrogant on their part. What evidence do they have to proove their system of belief? They are so exclusive in their belief that unless you believe like them (not believing in Christianity) you are wrong. Where do they get off?

Quran 2:256

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

The BIBLE:

(2 Thessalonians 2:3 NASB/WEY).

"Let no one in any way deceive you, for that day cannot come without the coming of the apostasy first, and the appearing of the man of sin, the son of perdition."

Deuteronomy 13:6-10:

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which [is] as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; [Namely], of the gods of the people which [are] round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him,

Predestination and election. Either a person believes what the Bible teaches or they do not. To believe only part of it is the same as not believing it at all!

If I wanted to use the word Shalom to say Hello to Heaven rather than in a definition of peace, how do I know that a reader might not think I am saying goodbye to Heaven? It is confusing to mean both hello and goodbye. What is a creative way to say hello without the word "HELLO?"

I welcome input from everyone who has something to contribute, but I am especially eager to hear from Christians.

I have a friend who has been separated from his wife for nearly four years. They are both Born Again Christians, and she, especially, professes to be very active and faithful. They live in separate households, and she refuses to have anything to do with him. She will only talk to him about their daughter, and will hang up on him if the conversation turns personal in any way. She refuses to go to counselling, to discuss their problems, or to get a divorce.

About once every 6 weeks, she invites him over for sex. It is entirely at her discretion, and when she is in the mood. If he says no, she does not allow him to have their child on the weekends. He is not allowed to ask for sex when he wants it.

It seems to me like a convenient way to have sex and pretend you aren't sinning, as I see no characteristics of a real marriage here. What are your thoughts, please?
