I can't speak for all non-Christians, but I don't think that people who have different beliefs than I do are wrong or that my belief system is the only right way to believe. I leave that type of attitude to the Christians. I haven't talked to very many Christians who are willing to even consider that someone who does not believe as they do, are not misguided, in need of "being saved" enlightened, or "won't burn in hell".

We can not blame them.We all like to think that our system of belief now is as coherent as it was handed down to us by God some 2000 years ago.
When you look at the various Christians denominations and sects today, which numbers are really astonishing, one will find that they differs among them, even to the very fundamental questions of divinity. If these confusions and divisions which had started from the moment the belief was incepted some 2000 years ago till now and is still growing , prove the system is without fault, then,it could only be in our way of thinking.

Sorry Nobodiesinc,
You have a double edged sword. Try the other question....
Why do Christians think what they believe is right?
You are going to throw the Bible in my face... I will just throw pre-bible books right back at you.
Remember, in the Bible, you can own slaves, chattel, and better not shave.
So If you can answer the other question first, then you will have answered your own question!
Glad to help!
James
P.S. I am sorry, you asked, Where do they get off? Well I consider myself a Christian! But I don't understand your bigotry, so where do I get off? I get off knowing that I question your belief in a concept that you don't even understand. It's kind of like you are driving down a dark road, without your lights on, and just hoping that the road keeps on going the way somebody else told you. I get off being there when you crash and burn! Someone's got to pick your butt up off the road!

Well, you have to look at it from the other side. I've been taught that Satan has a really good way of decieving and changing people to suit his whims. Thus, you have your atheists trying to destroy truth? True, they have nothing to prove their beliefs other than the ground that God created for us that they are standing on. Yet they like to push around evolution, and the belief against God. My solution? Just don't submit to their tactics. Smile, and take heart in knowing that you will eventually be in a happier, much better place, rather than merely quitting existence. Keep up the good works, and maintian the walk, for the path to righeousness is narrow, and the path to wickedness is wide, and look who installed a car-pool lane. Yes, you will get the generic answers of "I found contradictions in the Bible, so I can defend my sins" and "Why do you insist on The Bible being true?" Deception can be so saddening to witness. God bless.

This question has been asked a million times.
Your argument is based on a falacy. Not ALL non-christians believe that christianity is wrong. Hindus and Buddhists believe there are many ways to God. Athiests don't believe in God, Agnostics believe it can't be proven. Personally, I'm probably agnositc. I used to be Christian, but backslid because I found too much wrong with christianity to continue.
I can't prove there is no god. No one can, just as you can't prove that there is. Your faith is great. Just don't try and force it on me. And stop whining.

Beats me, but the main reason they don't believe is because if there is a God they might have some consequences to face or might have to change their life style, they are too stubborn to check out the Bible Prophecies that prove the Bible, I guess if they don't believe there is an actual hell then they don't have to worry, but you don't have to believe in hell to go there! These are the people that are spoken about in IITimothy 3:1-9. Good examples that there are stil alot of unsaved souls and we need to pray for them, gotta love them even tho sometimes it is hard.

Look at yourself in the mirror. What makes you think that what you believe is an absolute truth to the exclusion of others?
Where do you get off?

Why do we think we are right.. for the same reasons you think Christianity is right. It is what we believe. I think Jesus was a great teacher but I don't think his church is right. I am Wiccan and I don't see how you could have creation without both male and female. However, I don't want to change your faith or try to convince you that you are wrong. If you are willing to let me follow my faith and not harm others then I will let you do the same. As long as your faith brings you happiness doesn't harm others more power to you. But don't try to change my faith or try to have me burnt at the stake.

I think everyone is entiltled to their own opinion - thats freewill - and if you are a christian you'll know that God granted us that.
Im not a Christian - im agnostic - but i totally respect all religious beliefs - i just choose not to get into it all - and im pretty happy believing that there is some kind of greater power we dont fully understand... guess im just neutral...

Because most non-believers live in fear that their lifestyle and beliefs ARE wrong. They become angry and post comments trying to justify their views to boost their self worth and get thru another day hoping today isn't the last and it's too late to repent.
