If I wanted to use the word Shalom to say Hello to Heaven rather than in a definition of peace, how do I know that a reader might not think I am saying goodbye to Heaven? It is confusing to mean both hello and goodbye. What is a creative way to say hello without the word "HELLO?"

it would depend on where you use the word shalom... like when you approach someone you would say shalom... so you know that is hello and shalom - good by when you depart.. so would apply in your poem...

Are you ignorant or what. There are many languages that use one word for hello and goodbye. If I were you I would stick to English instead of bashing cultures you know nothing about.
