The Church supports medical and mental health for all people. The Behaviorists are not discreditted and in fact there are preists and members that are psychologists and psychitrists licensed by the appropraite bodies. Now humanistic theories may not be supported from the basis of orgin. Catholics believe in a divine spark. I'm certain CBT is used and if members choose to go into therapy it would not be prohibited it has it's place. The church isn't a negative thing or does it propose negative thinking by the way in the world view millions of people around the world in fact having a spiritual connection and a faith brings joy to many.
