All religion is essentially primitive superstition with no evidence in its favour. Why do only the muslims seem to believe that they should kill anyone who does not agree with them.

Hi there,

I'm a little worried because I'm not celebrating Lammas as such, but I'm casting a very important spell instead. I've looked through so many books but I can't find the time that I should do it at - is it tonight, or tomorrow night? Many people have told me to do it the night before, and then the spell is put into action by Lammas, whereas others have told me to do it on Lammas night? I'm so confused :-(

ALSO, IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER, AND ARE PLANNING ON CRITISIZING MINE OR ANYONE ELSES' BELIEFS, THEN PLEASE DON'T COMMENT AT ALL - THANKS ;-D

was the world created so we could live and take from it and never give back? like take the fruit-but dont plant a new tree? was it made for our greed or was it made with a divine purpose? If we are created in the image of God-then God desires to fellowship with us-truely be our friend-but if he felt this way about cows-he would have came to earth as a cow to relate and feel the way cows do.

Why do u think the earth is here? you can read my old questions i answer why i believe in the Jewish Messiah-but here i would like to hear your heart-what is your purpose in life-in line with why was the world created?
if everyone was just like you -what kind of a world would it be?
where will you go when u die? why? i was going to hell gnashin teeth forever as the bible says for rejecting the creator the one that would love me forever-Revelation 19-22nd chapters-also about the joy of heaven-ok whatever what are u about -concerning why the earth is here?-please check back too and my360

The only reason I'm wondering is it seems like they're replenishing too quickly for it to be the work of a single individual due to the ink limitations Drawball puts in place. I know some of the other large logos are maintained by groups of people [message boards], etc.

I know I've heard many say that, and it may be true. But if it is true, then what does this verse mean?

Genesis 3:22

And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

Were the guys that wrote it hundreds of years after it happened so unsure of what happened due to the chinese whispers and silliness of the stories that they thought they had to be really vague and leave it open to misinterpretation...

It is lucky I suppose, without any kind of answers emanating from the Bible, it has given loads of people over the centuries that followed a chance to justify every human atrocity that has been commited in the name of God...

Would anyone be brave enough to say that thius part of God's grand design too?

I'm sick of religious bigots and their hatred spewing all over the place. So how about a real question here, for once?

I'm just curious. I love learning about different religions. Spirituality is a wonderful thing, and everyone experiences it differently- So what path have you taken and why? Why out of all religions does it make you happy and comfort you the most?

~~~
For me, I follow Kemetic Orthodoxy because I've always loved the Gods. They've always spoken to me and comforted me. Ever since I was little and visited a museum filled with Egyptian artifacts, I felt a sense of Their presence. No one else I knew believed They were real; but I couldn't stop thinking about them. The hymns and myths gave me a sense of awe that nothing else could. Their beauty called to me.
One night, the Goddess NebtHet came to me and I found the religion while googling for info on Her. She's been in my life since, and so has KO. I couldn't be more happy. Dua Netjer!
So what's your story?
We are witnessing that the religion(s) causing main source of global unrest, hatred and intolerence towards others and resulting voilence around the world. So, can we get rid of religion and live togather with peace and harmony as a global community and can we live without a particular religion. The second part of my question is regarding moralities. The religious moralities often deal with one's personal life e.g bedroom affairs. Can we re-define moralities and focus on our conduct toward others rather then personal life style(s). I'm not against religion as for as it deals with one's personal satisfaction but they should't be follow as a philosophy to deal with rest of the world. I.'' be thankful for any input in this regard.
Last night I had a vision i saw that suddenly it became very dark in sense there was light but the whole sky was completely blackout no stars moon no natural light and everything was very quite And it seems as if the earth was crying of fear and i felt like the walls of my room was a living being and telling me that the time has come .And i saw people were running around to hide themselves some people digging holes to bury themselves people trying to kill themselves but they couldnt do that people were strangers t each other even if they are brothers or husband and wives..Everyone was ashamed of themselves and were crying out loud it was a weird noise everywhere..And suddenly there was a very loud noise in the sky and i see the dark sky crack opened and a bright light engulfed the whole earth so bright that the sky looked like gold and silver but not blue and suddenly i saw Angels come as if there was someones wedding .....and i got up.
Seriously, this isnt a "relgions suck" thread, more of actual genuine worry that religions and their followers are screwing the world up for the rest of us. No better example than the current middle east crisis. You have muslims who believe they will go to some crazy heaven through matyrdom and killing innocent people. You have crazy Israelis thinking its a god given right to own the holy lands and battle of the evil hords etc. Even the Christians think that they have the backing of God in all their actions. Tony Bliar said that "God will be the ultimate judge of the offensive in Iraq", isn't that just a stupid cop out to deny responsibility. It really upsets me that all these different people are so brainwashed that they fight and murder and follow blindly just for some pointless man made religion that promises them an afterlife, without which they cannot comprehend death. yet these people are making the wolrd a living hell for the rest of us, yet we are not allowed to speak out?
Why are there people out there that are so stupid and supersticious as to believe in a poorly written book of myths?
I think of every religions myths (including Christian, because that's what they are) are ways of explaining how God did one thing or another. I DON'T believe that they actually tell of things that -really- happened on earth. At least, not in such a rediculous and dramatic way.
In my religion, Kemetic Orthodoxy (the revival/reconstruction of the ancient Egyptian religion), there are many myths surrounding the Gods. I'm sure some of you know at least a few of them: The myth of Osiris and Isis, for instance. These are ways of explaining things, not things that actually happened. At least we realize this.
Hitler believed in the supremacy of the Aryans based on their racial characteristics, Zionists believe in the supremacy of jewish people as they religiously believe to be the God's chosen nation, whereas everyone else is 'Goyim', which means 'animal' or 'not-completely-human'
Hitler eyed the world as the cage that wouldn't contain two wolves, two racist ideologies, and as a bada$$ butcher, he thought he has to erase all of them. A 30-year-old man is a threat and a 3-year-old child is a potential threat
My point of view is Aryans and Zionists are very much alike. The main difference is that Hitler had the upper hand at that time. Both of them are extremely guilty. We can't keep placing the blame only on the Nazis, while, given the capabilities, the jews would have mercilessly done the same thing to those Goyim inhabiting their 'promise land', which stretches between The River Nile and Al-Forat.
If it's not that, please explain it to me. Only articulate answers allowed
