I have a friend who is a pastor. Borrows porn from me once in a while. Sometimes he gives porn to me as a gift. I think there is something wrong about that. What do you guys think?

Here's the scenario. Your family has always gone to church. It's more than a habit, it is what the family was founded on (the love of Jesus Christ). Suddenly your little girl/boy says to you "I don't want to go to church anymore." What is the best action to take? You relize it could just be a phase or worse, it could be the influence of friends or peers. Or even God forbid, drugs! Then there is the possibility of damaging what you have tried so hard to instill in your child, the love of Jesus Christ. You may be a parent with children who have left the nest, and you have been there done that. Share what your course of action was, and how it affected your family. Next you may be a child who went through something similiar with your parents or gardians. Share how they chose to respond, and how it helped or discouraged your faith in Jesus Christ. You don't know how many other than myself you might help.

This argument comes up in a lot of questions. To me, if you take religion out of a statement like that, it appears to be the answer of a comfortably dominant group. Putting religion back in, it seems to be some kind of idea that Christians widely believe about Atheists. What I don't understand is why would Atheists be afraid they are wrong when they do not believe in any other system of beliefs? I ask this because the idea makes me flip the idea to another belief system. Take Christianity: Would you say Christians give answers negatively commenting on other religions because they are afraid they are wrong? Some would try to make this claim, mostly out of malice, however the idea seems ludacris to me. Can you explain from where this idea of arguing your case equals a "fear of being wrong" was cultivated and what makes you give this answer, on either side of an argument? Do you honestly believe this, or is it just a convenient and hurtful comment to make?

I have Pagan/Wiccan beliefs but I don't believe in an afterlife or deities because I was raised non-religious. Wiccans; would you consider me Pagan? I would appreciate if only Wiccans or Pagans answered this, please. I will report anyone else, because you would be going against my preference. Thank you all and Blessed Be.

Religious believers are quick to suggest that humanities problems have nothing to do with religion, it’s just bad choices of interpretation by individuals.

That’s a disgraceful cop-out, especially as the damage religion and religious followers have caused to the world is clearly self-evident. Over 80% of the world’s troubles, violence and savagery has been directly caused by individuals associated with one form of religion or another.

If you genuinely believe that humanities problems are not caused by religion, but by individuals who interpret religion the wrong way, then why not protect children from any form of religious teachings until they are adult and have a free unbiased mind to choose.

A baby, a child, a youth is not a individual in the mind sense, let them become adult individuals and decide what if any religion they wish for themselves, otherwise you simply rape their mind with your damaging ways – that’s emotional paedophilia.

So, ummm... if god is all loving and all knowing, what have you done to instill such fear that you bow and kiss unhallowed dirt as trembling invertabre? Does your god not love you enough to accept you as you are? as he cereated you? As you were destined to be by his deisgn?.... do you truely belive that ye be damned to eternal fire for NOT heading lips of mankind?.. Can you NOT read, have you not read? do you not understand what the words in the bible say?..why do you not know love?

You know how people study mythology? People actually used to believe in a man who makes lighting who is buddies with a guy who controls the sea, now we laugh and say, "what a bunch of freaks". Do you think, a few thousand years from now, people will look back at us and say the same thing about people following a carpenter who was born from a virgin?
