I converted while in my undergrad studies and the muslims that I knew are gone now, i don't live in a muslim community and I dont attend the masjid, except on Eid. I am facing some tough choices and I need to know the islamic sharia and previous fatwa's in these areas. I am sunni.

Nothing is better than going to the masjid and increasing Iman by prayer or interacting with brothers/sisters that spread love and peace. So befriend some good Muslim friends because it is best medicine toward a righteous life.

You converted to the religion of hate? No peace or salvation....so sad. muhammad was neither a Christian or Jew and the koran does not agree with the Torah or Gospel. muhammad was from pagan mecca....Why would God chose an illiterate pagan from mecca if He is the God of Isreal? There were plenty of devout Isrealites from Isaac and Jacob, Gods chosen people. Why would God change the information given by the prophets? Is God powerful enough to keep His word from corruption? All the other prophets got their information from God so why did muhammad get his from an angel? Galatians 1:9 says But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed....Did the other angels in the bible press on people to read like Gabril did to muhammad or change the gospel?......wake up young man and research for yourself. Islam is a false religion. 45 islamic terrorists groups and only 2 Jewish ones. You are in an army of zombies trying to get to a bisexual paradise by zealous good works in vain which you have no guarantee for except if you blow yourself up and kill others in the process.

best solution, make a point to visit the masjid or the muslim council in your area and asked about the available courses that you can attend.
Or better, give them a call.
Islam is an easy religion.
And my congratulations to you for finding peace with Islam & best doa for you.Insya'allah.
