If God was a time based being that had an expiration, would that change your views toward him knowing he would be gone eventually.

I ask it since a lot of questions here seem to ask who created God. Those questions indicate for him to be created he is bound by time as we are, since he would have a beginning. However if he created time himself these questions would be mute and hypothetical.

I am so ready!!! My ex was a christian, but strayed, is cheating, and smoking weed and drinking. But wont stop calling. BUT I AM READY TO LIVE FOR GOD! And wait for Gods plan and wait for the amazing Pure, Christian Husband for me. I will be pure.

oh yeah, I'd like to say to everyone thanks for helping me with the answers. It's hard to know the man i love strayed and is doing things wrong with his life, but all i gotta do is Pray<3

I have a question also,
Is this good for me as a Christian, I think everything made from Satan perverted, and etc, I get so mad, and look at it bad, and say Its wrong. Is that bad for me? I dunno if some of u have the same way. If you see something on tv, movies, in a store, internet, thatis wrong, you get mad about it.

If you gain a mature companion--
a fellow traveler, right-living, enlightened--
overcoming all dangers
go with him, gratified,
mindful.

If you don't gain a mature companion--
a fellow traveler, right-living, enlightened--
go alone
like a king renouncing his kingdom,
like the elephant in the Matanga wilds,
his herd.

as a born raised and bar Mitzvahd Jew -at 13 i was given a copy of our Jewish scriptures and i found out that from adam and eve-a blood sacrifice was given to cover sins-God slew an animal and covered them with its skin. Abraham went to sacrifice his son (who had sins so it was rejected)but God said i will provide myself a sacrifice for your sins-and there was a ram for the time being sacrifice
Moses the one that is the leader of Judaism to point us to Jesus-was banned from entering Israel for his sin, yet he spoke of the need for blood atonement "The life of the flesh is in the blood and i have given it to make atonement for your sins." Isaiah said "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man and lay down his life an atonement for our sins" Isaiah chapters 52 vs 13-53 vs 12. so i believed it and read what our Messiah said-that he knocks on each heart to come in, deliver from sin, and be our friend-Revelation 3 vs 19&20
now life is wonderfull being a full Jew thanks!

This is an honest question for research purposes. Anyone preaching in here to try and "save my soul" will be promptly ignored.

Love is the flame which, when it blazes,
consumes everything other than the Beloved.
The lover wields the sword of Nothingness
in order to dispatch all but God:
consider what remains after Nothing.
There remains but God: all the rest is gone.
Praise to you, O mighty Love, destroyer of all other "gods."

I noticed this on someone else's question:

"If God used evolution, then he would be a cruel, selfish, and uses death to create life. I wouldn't want to worship a God who never gets it right on the first try."

So, the reason for their not believing in evolution is that it makes god look like a bastard? Is that right? Is that what is keeping them from believing in it?
No wonder why you can't use logic to debate with them. They don't use logic to come to conclusions on their own.

Is it because at least this way you know you will get some type of answer, instead of waiting around forever for an answer from an imaginary being that you know will never come? Is a useless answer really better then no answer?

dont let the people become athiest/agnostics

your source of knowledge is foolish preist,s & your perent,s
that does,nt mean that you are at true path why dont you read yourself and research on a religion to find out what is true

BIBLE is 100 out of 80% is falsehood and contradicted iff you dont believe me read it and find out by yourself

iff you have any quest about Islam dont listen to other,s n media research on it becouse on the day of judgment you will be asked for your self no one will perent,s priest,s or any body else

trust me find the truth by your self do some effort,s don,t be ignorant

Why don't they still do to nobelievers, what they did before? Why do they not: murder, burn, stone, drown, etc nonchristians? What stopped them? Why was it ok at the time, and do you think it should be done today? It was effective. Was that god/jesus will?

Verse 10.) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Verse 11.) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Verse 12.) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

there are over a thousand gods and goddess's. some are even mentioned in the bible and in other so called holy books. the muslims worship a different god named allah while the christians worship a different god as well known as jehovah. every religion has a different god or goddess. the fact is the bible and the quran gods are war gods to start with anyways. no god is the same as another unless its the creator god which is nothing more than a energy that created all the gods to create man with.

What about if you have judged him without consciousness of his identity? Do you think that Christ would return the way people were taught by Christian religions, flying from heaven, or would he be born again from the bowel of a woman and live among men to teach them live? Would he appear in the media or keep completely unaware from technology? How would his face be, the same impregnated on the Shroud? Would you be able to recognize him? Would Christ be accepted or mistreated by the contemporary generation? I do not have the intention to discuss about religion, as it would result unfruitful, but I consider it is very interesting to get the opinion of other people about this issue despite of having my own beliefs and keeping my inner answer.
