I believe what you are referring to is John 11:35, in which it states "Jesus wept." This was just after he had learned that his dear friend Lazarus had died. Most people cry when they lose a loved one, even if they know they will see them again in heaven.
I haven't heard that Jesus is currently weeping, but if he is I can only imagine it is because of all the horrible sins of this world.

the reason the book of John says in chapter 11 that Jesus wept was because of the death of a very close friend. Jesus was 100% human, but this same passage shows us that He was also God. After he wept because of the pain of having lost a friend, He calls out Lazarus by name to raise from the dead and Lazarus comes back to life. No, Jesus is not a wimp, he was and is strong enough to carry all of our sins, pain and punishment.

I'm only GOOD not GOD, but I suspect "anyone" crucified might feel levels of pain, and perhaps weeping might be spontaneous or uncontrollable in that.
There are no REAL trophies for being MACHO.
I also suspect that as a Human,,,no matter the Son of God, he likely "wept" at the status quo, in his time, much as many of us do today, in regard to how we regress at the same time we seem to want progress.
Rev. Steven
I "wept" just to see you had chosen not to use "spell check"

Do you think that weeping is an indicator of wimpiness? If anything, compassion and openness with feelings are signs of great personal strength.
By the way, I'm not a Christian.

He did not weep when he was crucified. He wept in the garden of Gethsemane as he prayed for humanity. So, you could say that physical torture did not affect him the same way that emotional pain did.

You are really confused about faith aren't you. Mommy didn't take you to church when you were a little girl huh? That's just sad. For anyone to say that they don't believe in God, is just damnation to themselfves. I feel so sorry for you. You should start going to bible study group meetings or church or something. Try to get a better understanding of the creator!

Weeping doesn't make him a wimp. It means he had feelings.

No, he's not a wimp. He's compassionate, he feels other people's pain. When other people are hurt then he'll cry for them. I'm sure you've wept before.
