I think jesus was scouraged until his entire body was bleeding, then nailed through his wrists to the cross in a place where he felt extreme pain from the piercing of the nail, and also when he breathed his chest collapsed. Do you think Jesus deserved this?

He didn't deserve it, no. But He knew his job and mission on Earth, and He fulfilled the many prophecies of Him by, as an innocent soul, dying the way we humans deserve to die for our sins. The Jews, Judas, the priests, the Romans, and Pontius Pilate WERE NOT responsible for Jesus' death, as many have suggested: our sins betrayed Him, our sins scourged Him, our sins nailed Him. But because He loved us soooooo much, He saves us from our sins by dying in place of us. Isn't that such a great thing?

'For this purpose HE came into the world'. By HIS Blood our sins are washed away. Also, I think it's strange how whenever we see a portrayal of the Crucifix, HE has very minimal blood on Him. We can accept gory horror flicks but to some 'The Passion of the Christ' was too much blood. Jesus paid the price in full, a pure offering, for our forgiveness.

No! He found out what happens when you threaten the rich people in charge, and tell them to stop taking money and he was pissed, and threw over tables and made a scene. He was killed by the rich who did not want to lose control. He stood for justice for common humankind, for children, for the old and the sick. These are the people that werent allowed in the temples.
I think that is beautiful...

Why are peacekeepers blessed when they all seem to be killed?

Deserve it? Absolutely not.

Why did Jesus do it? Because He loved us so much? No.

For God, so loved The World, He gave His only begotten Son.

Jesus could have crawled off that cross anytime He wanted to. Why didn't He do it?
He died for OUR sins out of the love, FOR The Father. He had a job to do and did it, out of "Obedience" to the Father. He set the example of "Obedience", for US to follow to the Father, through the Son.

Jesus did not die out of love for US, He did it of Love for The Father. He wants US to share the love of His Father with Him. He gave the ultimate price so we could share with Him, and through Him.
He is the only way.

Of course He did not. But we humans have a tendency to fear and destroy what is more powerful than us and what we don`t understand. Jesus Christ died on the cross because the Romans feared Him since He taught people God`s word. He died for us...and we don`t seem to do a good enough job remembering that or listening to his teachings.

Not at all!!!!!
We deserve to suffer like that or even worse. Yet He decided that since we could not pay that price that He would, since He was the only one without sin.

Of course not.
But he did it because he loved us. Isn't that wonderful? That he loves us that much? That he would die on the cross for our sins!? Someone once told me that on the cross he has to bear the pain of all our sins too, so all of the world's pain for their sins.
I am so grateful for his LOVE♥. And his sacrifice.

No, Jesus did not deserve this.

I do deserve this for how I have made others feel and hurt my fellow man.

Thankfully, HE doesn't see it that way, and was "bruised for our iniquities" and "by His stripes we are healed".

But Jesus did not die just for me, He died for all men who have ever and will ever live...

No, Jesus did not deserve to be tortured and crucified for our sins.
Because He did not have any sins ever. His suffering was so that we can be saved and someday be with Him in Heaven.

God Bless You. ;-)
