Actually, with the image that some religious people have of God(Left Behind series, 40 Virgins for suicide bombers, etc) There seems to be a lot of bad images of God around.

How many animals were taken aboard the Ark? Genesis 6:19 - says two of each kind. VS. Genesis 7:2-3 - says seven pairs of birds and clean animals.

Exodus 12:22 God says, "...and none of you shall go out of the house until morning." VS. Exodus 12:31 Pharaoh calls for Moses and Aaron by night and tells them to get their people the hell out of Egypt, right now.

Exodus 32:14 says "the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do" VS. Numbers 23:19 says God does not repent.

Matthew 7:21 Jesus says not everyone that calls the name of the Lord shall be saved VS. Acts 2:21 Paul says whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Matthew 15:4 Jesus says, "Honour thy father and mother..." VS. Luke 14:26 Jesus says, "If any man come to me, and hate not his father and mother...he cannot be my disciple."

Matthew 26:27-28 - "...Drink ye all of it, For this is my blood..." vs. Deuteronomy 12:16 - "Ye shall not eat the blood." Symbolically disobeying god. Jesus being the sacrifice and thou shalt not drink the blood of the sacrifice.

Mark 15:25 Jesus was crucified at the third hour VS. John 19:14-15 says the sixth hour.

Mark 15:40 says Mary was afar off beholding the crucifixion VS. John 19:25 says she stood at the cross.

John 13:38 "the cock shall not crow till thou hast denied me three times." VS. Mark 14:68 Says the cock crowed after the first denial.

Acts 9:7 VS. Acts 22:9 VS. Acts 26:14
Paul of Tarsus lies each time he tells the story of meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus. Paul, a liar, wrote over half of the New Testament. The Apostles considered his preachings falsehood.

supposedly in the old days god used to turn people into pillars of salt, drop napalm on bad cities (Sodom), flood the world (noah) and used to talk to people every weekend. He even proved his existance to some guy (Abraham I think) by setting his sticks on fire.

So how come he used to do all this but he never interferes any more. Not for at least 2000 years

Did people just have more of an imagination in the old days or has god just stopped interfering?

why is it that so many christians (and i mean all versions of christians) think that they should tell everyone how to think and that they are right about everything and if you don follow them your going to hell. i dont have anything against christians (i do beleive in god) but wtf? theres so many that think gays are bad and that abortion is wrong and blah,blah,blah.... yo know? i just want your opinion though

Personally, I don't have a problem with sex before marriage, however, I know many people, for whatever their reasons (religious or otherwise), they believe that pre-marital sex is wrong or should not be done. So what happens if two virgins who waited for each other find out (after marriage) that sex is horrible or impossible?

If a new religion existed called "splorky" that spread over half the globe, saying that if you didn't believe in it you would go to a place worse then hell, and so would your family and everyone you ever loved, would christians start fearing the new splorky god so much would they convert to splorkyizm? Why are everyone against christians? Whats wrong with believing in God and Jesus Christ? So many people think Christians are closed minded, and hate that, but at least they stand up for what they believe in. My quieston is this: If we're all taught to tolerate gays, lesbians, muslims, buhdists, watever, why cant people tolerate christians?

This is not Logical. Do you believe this. The answer would be NO from you. This is not to harm the feelings of Christians but to show them the real facts and errors on which there believes depends.

The Bible says in chapter 1, verses 3-5, of Genesis that the phenomenon of day and night was created on the first day of creation of the Universe by God. The light circulating in the universe is the result of a complex reaction in the stars; these stars were created according to the Bible (Genesis chapter 1 verse 14 to 19) on the fourth day. It is illogical to mention the result that is the light (the phenomenon of day and night) was created on the first day of Creation when the cause or source of the light was created three days later.

Come to the true path of God, Islam.
