Why are everyone against christians? Whats wrong with believing in God and Jesus Christ? So many people think Christians are closed minded, and hate that, but at least they stand up for what they believe in. My quieston is this: If we're all taught to tolerate gays, lesbians, muslims, buhdists, watever, why cant people tolerate christians?

THAT, my friend, is the central hypocrisy of liberalism. Liberals claim that conservatives (especially the Religious Right) are closed-minded, inflexible, elitist individuals who will only accept their own kind. Liberals, on the other hand, are the only really GOOD people because they're so open-minded, so understanding, so accepting...you know, "I'm OK, you're OK..." It's a crock. Liberals are every bit as narrow-minded, inflexible, and elitist as they accuse conservatives of being, but they're hypocrites on top of it. They're not anywhere near as open-minded and accepting as they would have you believe -- they're only open-minded and accepting if you believe what they believe. If you don't, you're a neo-Nazi idiot and might as well be wearing a white sheet with a hood. BULLS***!!!

Why are liberals so against Christians? That's easy: Christians have a moral code (not all Christians follow that code to the letter, but they accept it as universally applicable to everyone). Liberals don't want anyone telling them what they can and can't do. That's why they're doing everything they can to erase every mention of God and His Son Jesus Christ from virtually every segment of society. They're basically a bunch of spoiled children who want to tell everyone else how the world is supposed to be but want to be their own gods and decide what's right and wrong based on their own personal feelings, with no regard for anyone or anything else. Sorry. Our country was founded by men of God who believed in freedom of religion, not freedom FROM religion.

you're sorta excellent...vaguely...er, you're onto something. let me be more suitable particular: first of all, evolution itself is a proper party of the rules of physics and nature in action. yet, what you (i imagine) are talking about, it somewhat is, how something got here about in any respect, is a robust question. If the universe is infinite, time, area, and count have always been right here, and favor no catalyst. yet when the universe is constrained, it may look that faster or later something had to come back from not something. i'm nevertheless an atheist...to assume that the unique catalyst (a) had wide wide awake theory and purpose (b) used that purpose to create us (c) wrote a e book about it and (d) remains round....properly, it really is not purely a touch conceited, it really is a hell of a large style of assuming.

Christians should be tolerated in the same way everyone else is. However, there are some christians who use religion for political or economic gain. Those are the people that i stand against.

Actually, what offends me about Christians is not the people themselves, but their savage deities. Jesus is Gods son, and supported God according to myth.

God likes to prove that he loves people by helping them rape, murder, torture, and enslave non-believers.

Jesus lied to his disciples time and again, went against his own teachings, and encouraged laziness and ignorance. Jesus entire ministry was pro-God, and anti-human. After his death, the disciples created a misogynistic church based on hatred and discrimination, again shrouded in the lie that it is because God loves people.

Taken as a whole, the Judeo-Christian Gods can only be considered evil by anyone with an ounce of morality. I find it ironic that many moral people flock to these gods and start claiming it is their invisible friend that makes them good people when they were actually better people before their conversions to the various Christian cults.

It's all about Political Correctness. The other groups are minorities in the U.S.,compared to a Christian majority. As members of the majority, they are not entitled to the same
amount of tolerance. Besides,it's all too common for Christians to warn unbelievers about being destined for Hell which doesn't increase their popularity.

It's not that people hate Christians. It's that they hate God. Christians are only followers of God and a visable reminder that God is alive and well living in your community with a message that will change your life. The true rebellion is not against Christians per SE, but against God. They only take it out on us because they can see us.

I have found in my life that alot of times christians have this set way they have to be, and it sometimes seems to be they are more about fighting about what religion is the best. When i was younger i was assembly of G-d and i was around a girl who was church of christ, she told me i was going to hell because of not being her religion. See thats the thing the religion will not get people saved nor the judgement but the light in peoples face and the love of G-d will. J-sus was will all kinds of people with his walk on the earth and we all have to get along to get to heaven. But some people just dont feel this way. I just got totally out of the christian mess and became jewish. I feel that i am not in the middle of the christians this way and i have became more able to talk to them and relate and treat them like people and i have had a blast getting to know other people and cultures.

For one simple reason - your religion teaches you that you should tolerate gays, lesbians, muslims, "buhdists", and "watever"...yet you do not tolerate them. You attempt to change them by telling them lies such as they will burn in hell for eternity for not submitting to your ideologies. So, youre really a hypocritical mass of people. You teach one thing, but do not live by what you preach.

Why should annyone tolerate that behavior?? And for the record, I dont tolerate fundamental muslims either.

they ARE close minded and they think that everyone should believe what they believe.

you spelled buddhists wrong.

People can't tolerate christians because for the most part, they don't do their part in toleration.

There's a difference between standing thup for what you believe in and trying to shove it down people's throats.

PS I was once a christian, and they're great if you believe what they believe. But if you don't, apparently you will burn in hell.

Great question - I think the problem is in the word tolerance versus 'acceptance.' There is nothing wrong with believing what you want to believe as long as it does not mean you turn against others in the process.
